We're finally hanging our advent today and our stockings lol. It's been pouring rain all night long and it's so wet and gross outside that I refuse to leave my house lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos from last night. You guys I'm pleasantly surprised at all the houses going all out as you can see from photos. The past few years the light displays have been sad and most people don't even put out one string of lights but there were so many more I didn't even share yet. It seems like Christmas Spirit got a hold of the town lol

Maverick is meowing at the advent calendars, he doesn’t quite understand its 1 door per day, not 1 whole calendar 😂

Acey Flaming(o) amazing christmas top and bedding! Cool advent but I'd want to eat it I'm sorry the delivery people delivered the tree broken :( I hope the replacement comes soon. Our toddler has the same problem with advent calendars!

mrsmad phone apps have been a thing for years here, our gp surgery is terrible for appointments - unless you book an on the day emergency app there's a 2-3 week wait for a face to face appointment! You're wonderful with all that you do for your parents, you're a rare kind of person in this day and age. .

Philomena that looks like lots of fun! I've never been ice skating, I almost went once but my sister accidentally cut her foot taking her skates off, it was only a small cut but on her white socks it looked terrifying and put me off!

Nero Snap! dh working today here too and decorations have to wait till tomorrow. Enjoy the light switch if you're able to make it.

Been a wonderfully festive day, everyone is in high spirits and there’s been loads of laughing and happiness; very lucky and feeling very humbled to have the people in my life that I do

Seafood - love what you did with the flamimg(o) - made me chuckle it’s mini chupa chup tealights so I wouldn’t recommend eating them they said it’s out of stock and will issue a refund once someone’s been to pick up the broken tree, they tried to say I need to take it back to my local Argos which is a 45 min car ride away, aye no chance

Thanks crazy the main tree is 9ft. We bought it when we lived in a Victorian house with high ceilings and a big bay window and we needed something to fit the room. We are now in a new build
