Morning! Brand new thread for the new week!

Morning! It's DECEMBER and it's THIS MONTH!

We're eating breakfast listening to Michael Buble! 🎅

Your place looks awesome, Wheelie. We're decorating in a bit, once breakfast is over with.

The lounge smells all lovely and lemony after cleaning yesterday. Nice and clean. I'll light the Christmas scent candle later on I think!

Argh not the best start to the day. The beautiful pre lit tree I got from Argos is smashed to smitherines. This is the second item from Argos in 3 days that has arrived broken. They are saying it’s out of stock now so going to have to brave the shops and try and find one grrrr.

Gits. The only thing I've ever had arrive broken was a traditional doll with porcelain head and hands, her thumb had broken off. My poor injured doll. Argos are obviously rubbish.

We keep getting parcels delivered (by various couriers) and they leave them in the shed (great) but leave the door wide open! This means that the shed gets flooded as do the parcels

We can’t be bothered to go out, so have ordered another tree online and have decided to use the 4ft one in the living room until the 6ft one arrives

Making a start, Xmas music is blaring, everyone is happy

Morning all. We opened the first window of our Paw Patrol advent calendar this morning. I managed to open it without breaking the foil so the chocolate is still in there.

There is a tiny village in the centre of my city, that's turning on their Christmas lights today, so might go there if I can get parked.

Can't wait to see all of your trees and decs. I'm hoping to put mine up tomorrow when dh is off work.

That's shocking, Acey. I've never had any real issues with deliveries, other than timings, thankfully.

We have a porch where deliveries get left if we're out. It's a godsend!

The kids are being irritating and fighting already. It's going to be a long old day!

Mrs - I hope you have a lovely coffee and cakey morning Addie and I are currently eating a chocolate orange muffin god bless them, they do take care of me 😁 maverick has devoured his advent calendar, I’m glad at least one of the cats will eat them 😂 you’re right though, they have no need to please us I thought it was beautiful that they are going to be reuinited after 24 years apart, to fly free together like birds aye I certainly have had my flu jab sweetie, thank you for checking though I had to laugh at ‘nagging nurse’ 😂 it feels like it’s never going to be March, I just want to meet my wee Addie and hold her and keep her safe 😁❤️💕 Addie is definitely helping me pull off this shirt 😁
Im very spoilt especially with the chupa chups candle one from paddy, I got him a whisky one, so he’s not opened his yet as it’s 10.30 in the morning not whisky o’clock 😂

Morning. I'm so excited that it's December! My day started with my favourite family tradition - my dad called me at 7:30am and played Christmas music at me Sounds nuts but he's woken me and dsis with Christmas music on 1st December for as long as I can remember. He even did it using an ipod and headphones years ago when I was very unwell and in a hospital bed!

I'm just about to open the first window of my new, picture only advent calendar. I've posted a pic of it. Surprised by how many people know about it and think I'm a bit nuts for not having a chocolate one.

So jealous of everyone who's putting their decs up. I don't think ours will go up until 10th (and DH is guaranteed to ask if we can do it a week later 🙄). We have no time to do it until then (well, technically I could do them on Thursday as I have the day off but I can't get the decs down from the attic).

Plan for today is to go to the garden centre with dm and dsis, look at the Christmas stuff then go out for lunch. Have a lovely day all!

Our tree won't go up for another two weeks. We have a real one and a small house!

Morning all and happy December! You’re all so busy on this thread I pop off for a day and before I know it we’ve gone on 3 pages!. I’ll catch up tonight with a cup of tea, some more research about moving today it looks like for me. Algy didn’t believe it was December this morning when I told him to open his calendar, you should’ve seen how happy he was!.

I’m laughing so hard, my (nice) brother taught my nephew this song, it goes something like ‘all we ever hear from you is bla bla bla’ but he’s taught my nephew to say ‘all we ever hear from grandpops is bla bla bla’ 😂
My nephew has been crying with laughter because I keep saying ‘papaya’ in a funny voice 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 I hope Addie loves me as much as he does 😂

So...kids' tree, our tree and their advent calendar which my mum made.

I've stuck them in front of Home Alone 2 now as it's all been too much excitement, and they were being argumentative and annoying. Hopefully they'll just enjoy the film now!
