Morning! Brand new thread for the new week!

Acey you look brilliant in your pyjamas! I'm very jealous, might have to have a look instore (are they the ones from george?) - I had those in my basket and they sold out :( Wheres Wally is very cool :P My eldest went to bed in WW pyjamas tonight!

Acey am loving your trees and the crazy pj's lol, glad you had your flu jab too m'dear , your Dparents would be so proud of you

Fluffy l love MB Christmas album , he is a darling your trees are beautiful even the DC one and l think that advent calendar your mum made is amazing such a lovely keepsake

Crazy the smell of a real Christmas tree is so lovely l don't blame you wanting one , your advent calendar is gorgeous and your Dad sounds like a wonderful Dad to do that for you

Crazy, we have a normal advent calendar too. I got it in Berlin! It's meant to be for me and DH, but DD wants to open it tomorrow. Sigh!

I've been drinking M&S chocolate Yule log Irish cream tonight. It's lush.

I'm onto the fiddly beading bit of the cross stitch now. It's long-winded!

Everyone's decorations are so fantastic! You guys have great taste. I ended up in the ER :( Turns out I have a tummy virus. I'm feeling pretty low. I hope it will end soon. I've kept some crackers in me though so hopefully it's on it's way out of here.

We did get the one side of the room finished today! I'll share photos when we get the bed and stuff back in place!

Ah, Wheelie, I hope you're better soon. It's miserable having a stomach bug.

I've just ordered box frames for my cross stitches. I should have them both done by the end of next week, including frames! They'll go up in the dining room which is an ideal spot as there's no sunlight in there due to the positioning of our neighbours' properties!

I'm off to London today with my friend. So excited. We get to talk and drink coffee and mooch with no children! She has a ds who is autistic so it's a big treat for her. We need to be home for his bedtime so we're leaving early this morning (for a Sunday!).

Lots of people have had trips to Lapland cancelled this week. We are going further north so are ok but only 13 cm and no more forecast. Obviously that's better than nothing but not the white wonderland we had imagined. Some parts have no snow at all though so we're lucky in that respect.

My dad has been scattered, set free to soar the skies with my mum, may he rest in sheer paradise wherever he is 💙

It’s 4 degrees and Baltic being stood on these cliffs, but my god the view is breathtaking. I’m so lucky to live here, home is where the heart is and my heart is here ❤️

When I scattered his ashes, the sun came blaring out for a few seconds, the same way it did at his funeral

Addie has been kicking away all morning, and I’m so very excited to start the new chapter of my life with her next year ❤️

Morning all! I started elf on the shelf this year and it’s the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, Algy was in our room at 6 asking what the elf had done, 23 more days of this. They’re all singing their school Christmas songs which would be lovely if the knew more words and hadn’t been singing it on repeat for the past 2 hours.

Fluffy I love seeing your cross stitching, I always wanted to give it a go but was never any good.

Acey I hope today goes well for you and Addie gives you strength. You’ve coped amazingly well and I’m sure you’re going to be the most amazing mum to your little Addie. Your dad would be so proud of you

Just got home after going for coffee and cake with paddy
We took a stroll round looking at all the Christmas lights which was lovely

My grandad wants to go play bingo this afternoon, so that will be a fun way to spend Sunday

Frange - I don’t envy you doing elf on the shelf! It’s somethihg I don’t think I’ll be doing with Addie! Aww thank you so much for your kind words, I aspire to be a great mum to Addie and just hope I manage it she gives me infinite strength, I wouldn’t be coping half as well if I didn’t have her

Seafood - I thought it was going to be difficult like the funeral was, but this was actually really easy and I’m so relieved that he’s out of pain and soaring high in the sky

When you have a child it seems as if they completely take you over and nothing else matters to us except their happiness and health. If they are happy then we are too. It's like as if they are an extension of us. Of course it is all mother nature and instinct and she definitely knows best ! ❤️🤩

We have a headstone for family members that have been cremated at a local cemetery, we’ve been today to put fresh flowers down. The Dad ones from the funeral still look good enough to keep

Acey they look so pretty and really fresh , it is lovely to have a place to go to take flowers and remember our loved ones. I had a friend who has a stone in the crem where she is with her husband and I used to go there a lot in the beginning it comforted me and there was nothing else l could do for her except take her flowers and pay my respects. 😘
