DS is now obsessed with the Christmas cat, and is sat by the patio doors searching the garden with a torch.

Picked DS2 up, DD arrived back from brass club at 4.20, had spaghetti carbonara with garlic pizza bread for supper, DS2's fallen asleep in our bed, DD will go at 7.20. 🎺😋🍝😴

Wheels what lovely photos! I know this sounds a little disloyal but I think America does Christmas decs much better than we do. Last year we drove through lots of places in America and the decs were amazing.

I'm trying to run the freezers down before Christmas.

We're having freezer surprise for lunch a fair bit next week! Pretty certain it's all either chilli or spag bol! DH lobs it in without a label (chest freezer in the garage).

And the cats are in their element as I found some prawns from 3 years ago so they've dined like Kings tonight!

RCat is still sleeping on top of the blanket fort...

Just got home and about to have a bath, so will catch up in the morning.

Had such a fun night, i forgot how much I love spending time with him. His presence just brings me so much joy and we spent most of the evening crying with laughter over several things :)
My stomach hurts from laughing so much!

Acey l am so happy for you that you enjoyed your night out with your friend , ahh bless you for the thanks re the inhaler tip , I used to be a childrens nurse for 38 yrs and retired last year to look after MUM and Dad and the caring side never leaves you at least not for me l think it is part of you , almost like an instinct . Fluffy l bet you are glad to be home love you ! I took mum to gossip club and apparently one of the members has died , last Weds night looks like a huge heart attack and he went out like a light , there is much talk abut the cause of death , some say it was from a blood clot that occurred from flying home from America after 3 weeks holidays, l think it was prob something like that because he was 80 and fully fit and well so nothing else comes to mind...poor man and he was very nice a gentle soul but the thinking of the group is that it was a' lovely way to go' which l suppose it was . Also there was a spat over the music, Martin sometimes does the music and so does Keith, Martin rings Mary to say when he is going to do the music but he arrived tonight without ringing and expected to do the music , so Keith kicked off and had a strop and said to Mary who runs the group that he would go to Tredegar dance club if she let Martin do it , heehee talk about a storm in a teacup , l mean who could honestly give a monkeys who does the music lol , it was really silly it is Mary l feel sorry for in the cross fire and she is a lovely lady . Anyway Martin backed down in the end , Gunfight at the ok coral or High Noon it reminds me off lol. Keith is now a councillor for the local council and is loving the power l reckon mwahahahaha what sort of a monster has been created lol.
I got Mum ready to go to the Dance club she can barely stagger a few paces let alone dance l couldn't get her tights on they were too small she has put so much weight on in the last 7 months since she last wore them you should have seen us it was hilarious l put my fingers through l don't know how many trying to get them up over her stomach & behind lol , ahh bless her it was funny though, must find some bigger tights for her asap.
Right l better go to bed DH has just woken from his slumber on the sofa and wants us to go to bed , have a good nights sleep everyone

Got the tv people coming between 12-5 so I need to clear behind the back of the tv ready for them.
Grocery shopping is coming between 8-9, I can’t wait I’m so excited for this weeks meal plan have cleaned the fridge ready for the food to go in. Oooo I’m hungry just thinking about it

Tomorrow / Monday I need to go get a maternity blazer and winter coat, ready for back to work Monday

Mrs - families indeed grrr selfish so and so’s! Even my grandad told them how disgusted he was with them. I’m glad the shark wrapping paper cheered you up my lovely, it certainly made me chuckle thank you for the cushion tip, I shall have a look online and pray that they ship to us here in the Republic Of Ireland I had a fabulous night thank you my dear, haven’t laughed like that in such a long time! He’s brilliant and we picked up where we left off as I hadn’t seen him since January! We will be having weekly catch ups now wow lots happened at gossip club last night! Sad news about the man passing away, but I agree it seems like a good way to go. My dad always said he wanted to go in his sleep and out like a light switch. Sounds like Keith is on a power trip I bet you made a fantastic nurse as your caring nature shines through whenever you post

Bah, had a rubbish evening yesterday, DPs motorbike tyre blew out on a roundabout and he came off, he is fine just shaken really... it was only about a 5 min walk from home so he decided to push the bike home rather than get a call out. So now I am waiting in for the bike mechanic to come and get said bike to replace the tyre. Hoping it won't cost more than £100 - tyre should cost about £30, moving it to the garage will be £20 quid but I have no idea about labour. And poor old DP had to get up at 5am to get two busses to work

I need to put in a food shopping order for Monday as I have next week off for Hamper central.

Things keep arriving in the post that I have ordered for DP and I literally wrap them the second they are in the house... the pile of gifts in the back room is looking obscene TBH but he has had a really tough few years money wise. The first day I came round his house he said he was embarrassed because he knew how un-homely and empty the place was so I really want to spoil him.

Oh Hairspray your poor DP. I hope he's not too sore today. My DF came off his bike years ago and I remember him saying he was fine but the bruises were huge.
Very sweet of you to spoil him too.

I am so close to being done with my shopping. Have MIL, StepMIL to go, as well as a few odds and ends.

I've been in a boring meeting all morning. Am skipping my lunch break to finish extra early. Plan is to food shop (Aldi) then Home to rest for a while before cooking a mini roast tonight.

Good news though - my monster crochet blanket is now ready for a border I've been stopping and starting it for about 2 years because it's so boring to work on but I've made myself do at least 3 rows a couple of times a week and now it's almost done. Aiming to finish it over the weekend (fingers crossed)!

hairspray how frightening! I find motorcycles in general scary though, I'm glad he's okay and didn't get hurt. I hope it gets fixed soon, that would be a nightmare commute for more than a day or two.

I had a cruddy morning too, I've lost my house keys so in the search for the spare, spare keys ( I've misplaced my spare ones too) I missed the school bus and had to drop DS off late.
