DSIS is 'caring' for the parents this morning because l am taking mum to leg club this afternoon and to Dancing gossip club tonight all being well. Am supposed to be cleaning the bedrooms and putting the christmas duvets on, well good luck with that l say TO MYSELF MWAHAHAHAHA here l am on here at lunchtime lol

Fluffy the cream is Diclofenac or Voltarol gel it is much better than ibuprofen gel , see if you can get some prescribed from the nurse practitioner. I wish l was your nurse practitioner too m'dear l would spoil you lol [fgrin[

My light up flamingo Xmas jumper has arrived yay!

I'm wearing my first Christmas jumper of the season today. It's the one I wore last year when I was 9 months pregnant so it's a bit baggy but hey ho.
DS was vomiting this morning all over my new carpets so it's another day of paw patrol today.

I am muddling through the day. I managed some sleep but kept waking myself up 🙄 I'm definitely on the zombie bench today.

I'm also fielding awkward 'what do you want for Christmas' questions which I never know how to answer! I've been told if I don't suggest anything I'll get booze which I don't want / need so have asked for a few books but that's about it.
I really want crochet stuff, a journal, wellies, a new handbag and vouchers for clothes / make up but I'm very fussy!

Only my mum has asked me so far. I've asked for money for Tolkien's birthday dinner. His birthday's 3rd January. All members of the local group of the Tolkien Society go to the Spaghetti House. I'm such a nerd. 😂

Good morning everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! I'm definitely feeling better today. Which is a good change. Yesterday just seemed kind of bleak.

I come bearing photos! Our city park lit up at night! We can't drive through it yet but I thought the photos would make you all pleased.

Also a 7 foot tall Christmas tree out of lights is going up in our yard today in full view of the neighbors house

I have news! SNOW IS FORECAST! For tomorrow. It's saying 17cm >90% chance so that's promising.

No more work for the week, so pleased I've been here there and everywhere this week.

Dd has just lost another tooth she has lost so many for her age!

Inspired by this thread, DS and I have built a fort on the couch and are watching TV. Despite playing Christmas songs all day, DS has refused to watch a Christmas film. I've refused to watch Paw Patrol so we're watching Pete the Cat
