I decided to self refer dd into the school nursing team. Luckily I get special priority and someone will go and do some work with her very soon. Today she has only eaten: the middle of a slice of bread and peanut butter; half a sandwich thin with ham in it; a goodies oatie bar; one slice of garlic bread and about 2 tbsp of pasta. It's just not enough.

Anyway onto more festive things...Red that looks amazing!

I still can't find any Christmas music channels on the DAB radio in my car which is disappointing with all the driving I'm doing at the moment!

Ds would like a nerf gun for Christmas. He has a couple but wants a really good one so that's easy enough and dd would like a new scooter. Just need to wait until December and I can actually buy...

WreckTangled · 12/11/2018 19:18

OMG. I need festive loo roll!

NoWordForFluffy · 12/11/2018 19:21

I'm glad your DD will be seen soon, Wreck. It must be so worrying for you.

And eBay for loo roll. It's not cheap, but we will use it on the day and for as long as it lasts, not the whole season!

I think DH might think festive loo roll was ridiculous. Xmas Sad

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:25

I love the loo roll Fluffy but methinks it is too good to do the job it was intended for mwahahahaha Xmas Grin

PhilomenaButterfly · 12/11/2018 19:26

Does she say why she's not eating Wreck?

PhilomenaButterfly · 12/11/2018 19:28

I just asked DD if she'd rather wipe her bum on Santa or Rudolph, she said neither, so no festive loo roll here. Xmas Sad

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:29

Wreck that is not enough food for her today ypibare right bless her , you must be so worried about her 🤗

WreckTangled · 12/11/2018 19:29

Because she wants to be healthy ☹️ I'm pretty sure it's not about her weight though but more about her worrying that if she's unhealthy she'll die. She worries about dying a fair bit. Eg once she checked a bit on a dorito and hasn't eaten them since. And once we were out eating and we (adults) were talking about the Russian spy poisoning and she had a panic attack because she was worried her food was poisoned.

WreckTangled · 12/11/2018 19:29

Psb🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:31

PSB your DD can use the 2 play along with your DH and you and DS2 can use the beautiful Christmas roll m'dear! 🎅🤶😍🤩

Redgreencoverplant · 12/11/2018 19:32

I hope your DD starts eating soon wreck it must be so worrying Flowers

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:35

Panic attacks and worries about dying seems to come up a bit with children Imho. I had this with my DDs and DC1 had to go on Citalopram she became so depressed and worried about it.

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:39

I had panic attacks and thought l was going to die , l learned the breathing exercises and use them to this day . They were a huge help. I so hope you get the help you need for her Wreck hugs galore my dear 🤗🤗🤗

WreckTangled · 12/11/2018 19:40

Thanks. I'm not too worried right now but want to get a handle on things before it gets worse.

PhilomenaButterfly · 12/11/2018 19:42

I'm on this thread Wreck, you may find some support there:

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:44

Yes you are right to try to get it sorted asap for her , poor child it must be horrible for her . Hopefully the School nursing team will be able to help, they are usually brilliant imho , have got everything crossed for you m'dear Wreck Smile

PhilomenaButterfly · 12/11/2018 19:45

Mrs that's a great solution, thanks! Xmas Grin

CrazyBaubles · 12/11/2018 19:55

Wreck I hope your DD gets some school support soon. I think it's hard at her age, she's not a baby so is aware of what's happening around her. I remember overhearing about a road rage killing at a similar age and being terrified every time we stopped at traffic lights. I guess as a child you don't have enough experience to rationalise that the things you're worried about are very unlikely to happen.

Acey you're managing so well. I'm sorry your family aren't supporting you though, that's really rubbish.
Glad seeing him today helped you, it's much better to have an image of him as he was rather than the ill him which was no where near what you picture when you think of him.

Welcome Wheelchair I love that you're posting from so far away. I'm really sorry if this is stereotypical but I straight away imagine a huge Christmas tree and lots of lights outside your house, letting people know how much you love Christmas decs Xmas Smile

MrsMad The emojis are brill aren't they? Me and DH have whole text conversations with them sometimes 👍🏻
My current faves are 🙄😩🥂🎄👀🦊⛄️🚨💸💞 and of course 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Well I have had a very long day at work however, I managed to get half of the things I needed from town in my lunch break (including the recommended Bucks Fizz from M&S). Also stopped at Tesco on the way home to pick something up for tea and added 2 Christmas presents to my trolley. Operation - all done by December is well on the way!

I can't remember who posted but I can't find Christmas radio either. Am also not getting many opportunities to indulge in Christmas TV movies however, I have started popping my headphones in and listening to my Christmas playlist while crocheting while earning brownie points by letting DH watch Gold Rush or car programmes Xmas Grin

Redgreencoverplant · 12/11/2018 19:56

I used to lie awake at night panicking that my house was going to be bombed and my middle brother had an anxiety attack when bird flu happened and we suggested going to feed the ducks. I think it is more common than we think.

Mrsmadevans · 12/11/2018 19:59

PSB Xmas Grin
