I was a bit older than your DD when the Zeebrugge accident occurred. We went on a ferry the October afterwards and I almost had a full blown panic attack about it happening to the ferry we were on. I do think it's quite common.

Got some exciting plans for the new year!. We’ve inherited a lovely little cottage, it’s a lot smaller than our house at the minute but think it would definitely suit us better. We’re thinking of renting our our home and moving into the cottage, we already rent another house out so are very used to the procedures etc. Considering turning the house into flats as well due to there being so many floors and it might give us a little extra income. Got a lot to decide but it’s definitely very exciting

wreck As someone who was a kid who was terrified of dying and as an adult who is still scared of it because my mum didn't get me help? THANK YOU for getting your dd help now as a kid. I'm a mess to this day at 34 because my mum never helped me.

Ok now for the Lilah update since I'm sure you all are concerned. I am happy to report that Lilah went from very underweight at just under 2 lbs (765 grams) to 2 lbs 10 oz (1.19 kg) so she's gained almost a full pound in about 10 days. They are very pleased with this. Her eye infection is gone but because her corneas are still healing? She's on another eye medication to make sure things continue to heal well. She's also on a 5 day oral medication. But she's doing so good and is gaining weight!

In other news my new chair has been put off until Thursday for delivery which I'm sad about but will be less money for us so that's good lol

I got my menorah's up today and got some more stuff organized and ready for our Christmas trees lol

Frangelico I think you should go for the cottage and rent out your current home! Especially if you think it will suit you guys better! We moved into our current home in August. It's a 1971 trailer and some folks hate it but I love being in this very vintage adorable house

Crazy - thank you lovely I take it day by day, and I’m so very lucky that Addie keeps me going even through the darkest days ❤️ All it takes is a kick or movement from her and suddenly things aren’t as bad any more I wasn’t sure if I wanted to visit him yesterday, but then I thought well he can’t really look any worse than when he died (sorry dad!) he had the clothes on I picked out for him, he looked casual and he just looked like he was peacefully sleeping without a care in the world

Philomena & Mrs - you can never have too many bubbles, maybe I should have put more in 😂 aye the wee Santa dress is so cute, I want Addie here now so I can put her in it 😂
