Thread 8 already; wonder how many we will get to before Christmas?!

I did my present audit last week Fluffy

DS is just about done - I need one more PS4 game and a bath bomb for his stocking.

DD1's stocking is done. I'm waiting for her to find a couple of books and maybe a cardigan or party top and then she'll be done.

DD2's stocking needs a bath bomb and I'd like to get her something else but I don't know what. I'm shopping with my friend on Tuesday so inspiration may hit.

I've sorted a stocking for DD2's boyfriend who may be with us on Christmas morning and I'll buy his present on Tuesday.

I'm waiting for Black Friday for DH's Alexa thingy.

DNephews in one family have a cinema voucher and something to unwrap at the family party. DD1 got them chocolate frogs at the Harry Potter shop today so that's them sorted.

The other family have given me ideas so I'll get them on Tuesday.

My godchildren also have a cinema voucher and a selection box. Need to buy the selection boxes.

I need to buy a bottle of brandy and a bottle of gin for presents.

DH buys his mum's present. Not sure about my Mum.

Hopefully everything will be bought by Black Friday.

Acey I'm so sorry to hear that, you're doing brilliantly but this burden shouldn't be yours alone. I hope they come to their senses soon, it's really terrible how they're behaving.

PSB that supper sounds delish , l did the parents tomato & Mozarella tartlets , minature pots and garden peas for their lunch , strawb trifle and a corned beef sarnie for their tea.

Red we are debating when to put the tree up here DDS want it up in a weeks time, even l am balking at that mwahahahaha, you tea sounds lovely , l love egg & chips bigly lol! I wholeheartedly agree with you Seafood , it is too much of a burden for Acey to be able to cope with on her own , it's just not on . What on earth they are thinking l do not know, unless the grief is just making them behave like this. I know it can make you feel and think strange things so perhaps it is that , let's hope they shape up very soon

Mrs I used to get the advent calendars on November 30th, but one year every shop in the area had sold out. I remembered yesterday to ask them which ones they wanted.

I’ve only just woken up, slept for 13 hours so must have needed it!

Dining room finished. The water was minging! It's not perfect, but the people who were here before us hadn't ever done it, so it's never going to fully clean. I also got ahead on my Christmas cleaning as I did all the skirting boards behind the furniture at the same time! Win win.

Today I am going to print out the craft advent calendar things to go in the boxes. I have to make sure I put them in the right order!

Afternoon all, it’s sunny but cold here which I love. I’ve just got some veg for dinner and am putting it on now, will take the kids and dog to the beach for a run around then come back and do some homework with them. The LO has moved today so I feel much better, finally feel like I’m back to being normal mummy again. DH and I will make cakes with DC when we get home and then think we’ll settle down with a film before bed. I love Sundays

Mrs - Addie is giving me more strength than I ever knew it was possible to have my lovely if I didn’t have her I honestly don’t know what I’d do! I am actually doing really well, the gut wrenching pain has eased, and it’s more of an aching now. I would give anything to have him back, but only if he was in full health, poorly like he was

I took the carpet cleaner back and got a couple of bits while I was in Tesco.

My bloody grandad just scared the life out of me, I thought I was going to go into premature labour 😂
I was putting my clothes away, singing along to Katy Perry, but I changed the words to ‘I kissed a boy and I liked it’ then my grandad comes strolling in and says ‘well Acey it takes more than kissing a boy to get pregnant’ 😂
Jesus wept; no phone call, no text or WhatsApp to let me know he’s flying over early from the UK, nope he just shows up 😂
He said he would have been here earlier but he’s been shopping. Think he’s bought the entire supermarket 😂

He says I’ve popped but I don’t think I even have a bump haha. He’s currently chuckling to himself like a wee girl because he scared me 😂 god I love him, he’s fantastic 😂 80 going on 18 😂
