Seafood, l bought a pkt of Brioche rolls from Aldi , sliced into them , melted 2 ozs butter in the micro then mixed it with 2 beaten eggs and a pint and a half of milk.I don't put sugar in it because l find it is too sweet with the Brioche but l sprinkled Almonds & Sultanas over and put it in the oven for 35 mins on middle shelf at 200 degrees c . It is so easy honestly and it tastes delish but it may not be sweet enough for you so have some sweet custard with it or sprinkle some sugar over the top before you eat it . Hope you like it sweetie Xmas Grin

Acey - how lovely that Addison was at the forefront of your father's mind. DH remembers his last conversation with my mother because he was showing her the piece of jewellery that they had bought for me for Christmas (the only time they ever bought me a joint gift). I have tears in my eyes remembering when DH told me as I opened it on Christmas morning.

MrsMad - you didn't ignore me - I didn't post because it was 10 days before Christmas and the board was fully festive.

WreckTangled · 06/11/2018 18:14

Evening everyone.

Mrs sorry your parents are still being a pain in the arse 😁 I'm sure they don't mean to sound so ungrateful they're just fed up of being old and taking it out on you.

Dd is asking Father Christmas for a Harry Potter suitcase she's seen in primark. Only problem is I've only seen it in the one in London and we're not in London. When we do I get the train and it's ££££ so I don't want to go there just for that that would be crazy. I really don't know what to do.

Also need to think of some more stocking bits 🤔

Seafoodeatit · 06/11/2018 18:17

WreckTangled · 06/11/2018 18:51

WreckTangled · 06/11/2018 19:30

Thanks fluffy but not sure how it would get to me if you found one 😁

I will go to London next month but will have the dc with me! I did see it in Brighton but it's such a trek and I don't really like Brighton for shopping so would have to make a special trip. My sister is going to look in Bath but I'm not hopeful.

Evening everyone!
Haven’t had a chance to catch up with what I’ve missed from this morning yet, so if anyone has replied to me, please don’t think I’m being ignorant. I will reply soon.
Been sorting out my dads flat today, the people he rented from have only given me two weeks to clear it out. Most of it will be coming to my house anyway as he told me a couple of weeks ago that’s what he wanted. I am taking it minute by minute and riding the many waves of grief that keep coming my way. I have managed 3 meals today and drank plenty as I need to keep Addison safe and for her to grow big and strong.

I am trying to get the last of the family presents bought, but I think it’s going to be a very tough Christmas this year.

In happier news, Addie is having a party inside me tonight, can feel her move and kick quite a lot considering the anterior placenta is cushioning most of it! I have bought the paint for the nursery, as well as her Moses basket, cot and bedding. It’s all pink of course Grin I don’t have a lot of storage as I didn’t bring the big stuff with me, so next up is buying wardrobes, chest of drawers etc.
I am 20 weeks today so halfway there.
Have a lovely evening everyone, and thank you for this thread, it’s my happy place even when my life feels like it’s falling apart!

WreckTangled · 06/11/2018 20:10

That's so kind fluffy thank you 🙂

Acey I hope you have someone looking after you and aren't doing it all by yourself 💐
