MrsMad it's bloody freezing here isn't it? I've been on the sofa under a blanket since I got home from lunch, desperately trying to undo stitches off the blanket I made too wide but now my fingers are too cold so I'm putting the heating on.
I've been watching Bodyguard too, great programme. I have started Killing Eve too, which is equally great.

No idea what is for tea, probably boiled eggs on toast after a large steak with potato gratin for lunch followed by a very naughty treacle pudding with custard

I've just tentatively joined the poncetastic thread in the hope I'll be motivated to keep up with my craft / homemade Christmas plans

Enchiladas in the oven (packet ones) and I haveal made cookies :) Watching Strictly!

I’m about 45 mins behind with SCD. Persuaded the DC to go to bed at 6.30 as they wanted 2 books each, so I was back in front of the TV by 6.59!

Bodyguard is A-MAY-ZING. I couldn’t breathe during the first episode. Bring on tomorrow’s finale. We are going to watch Killing Eve. Probably on weekday nights.

Have warmed up bit now Crazy , shut the doors to the front room and it is much warmer in here now.
Am watching SCD too and so far am liking Danny very much he was excellent. Susanna was just dire poor thing. I feel sorry for Anton tbh because they tried the comic routine with her but it just isn't working. Bring back Anne Widdicombe l say!!

Am enjoying having SCD back, even though l hate Shirley , she is a nasty piece of work, also do you think Zoe Ball will stop doing Strictly on BBC2 now she is taking Chris Evans place on R2 ? I do so hope so , l dislike her too, l find her so false.

Hello all. I'm following but not posting much at the moment.

MrsMad my favourite Auntie lived in Abergavenny and I have cousins who still live in the area. Some of my favourite early holidays were visiting them.

Fluffy my SIL will be visiting me in half term and is bringing me the Booths book. I never buy anything from the book 😂 but it is sooo pretty.

PSB I think he was very dexterous to use them. l have failed many times over

I think l must get this Booths book even though they don't have a store within 200 hundred miles of here
Have just seen they have one in Media city in Salford must go and see it when l go to see the DD1 in Manc!

Morning! Awake for no reason again.

DS was up at 5:30 so downstairs on the sofa watching Thomas and eating chocolate chip cookies. DH is taking DS swimming later so will rest then :)

I think we are going to the squirrel woods today. Then I'll have a quick trip to the allotment this afternoon. The weeding is never-ending and I can't go again until next Sunday, so need to get some bits done.

But my first job is to make Yorkshire puddings!

I had a bit of a lie in. The dc got up about 7:10 and I got up about 20 mins ago.

Rain forecast most of the day, I'm going to make banana flapjacks, chilli for dinner and a Stone Age house out of modelling clay. Well dd is meant to buy guess I'll do most of it...

We watched three Christmas films yesterday! And now we're watching another one

Another lovely wet and windy day here.
I’m just having a bacon and tomato roll (this baby sure loves bacon) then I’m off to home bargains with my brothers, we love going there and get so excited 😂
Nausea keeps coming and going but I’ve found sprite nips it in the bud pretty quickly!

It's great when the older child gets old enough to do it for the younger one Wreck! I actually had to remove DS2 from the room while DD was making his Iron Age roundhouse, because he'd have sabotaged it. Suspected ADHD and overtiredness.

I wish I'd known about Sprite Acey! Sounds like nausea could be caused by low blood sugar.

I ended up snacking constantly to keep the nausea at a bearable level with DD; it was relentless! I built throwing up x 3 into my morning routine. 🤢🤢 I only had sickness with DS for a fortnight, thank god.
