Here we are continuing from the last thread!

Morning all! We’re on our way back home now. It’s showering where we are and it’s lovely, everywhere’s so damp and cold. The boys have their blankets and jumpers over them in the car!. We’ve had McDonald’s breakfast this morning and we’re going out for Sunday dinner today!

I've just put the second lot of uniform on radiators. 😆

I'm roasting our homegrown tomatoes with rosemar and thyme from our garden to make into sauce to cook with. Thereby filling the freezer when we're meant to be emptying it.

I'm making chicken in red wine and thyme sauce with potatoes in creamy garlic sauce for lunch. 😋🍗🍷

Acey no worries, I've moved county in two of my pregnancies so transferring notes is the first thing that pops into my mind! I love home bargains too :)

The sun has come out here so my washing is almost dry and we managed to get to the park :) Just putting DS' winter coats through the wash now. Will be doing sausage cobbler for dinner.

It is sunny & windy here so really ideal drying weather but l did mine yesterday in the tumble ....c'est la vie!
Hope all fine & dandy, just having a cuppa and think the milk has turned but will have to drink it cos DH made it for me while he was cooking the rest of the food, t'would be churlish of me to tell him bless him
Been Shopio to town bought the Minecraft 2019 & the LoL 2019 annuals for 2.99 each from B & M for Christmas for my 2 LO l buy for , thought that was a great bargain .
Right best be off DSIS & DBIL calling worst luck they get on my nerves always on about things or some poor bgr, l expect the annuals l bought will be wrong now you'll see , they are real hard work l have to bite my tongue all the time

It's been sunny here since about 10am. It was lovely at the allotment and I've now got 3 rows of peas in to overwinter. When I dig my salad leaves out in a week or so I'll put early carrots in too, as they'll overwinter as well. Then I'll have stuff all ready to go as soon as it's warm enough next year.

Had a full Irish for brunch which has filled me up for the rest of the day. Just snacking on Doritos now with a wee glass of Prosecco. Both DC are having an early night. I just hope that doesn't mean an early morning

We had roast chicken with homemade Yorkshires this afternoon. I made the gravy with the liquid which came out of the tomatoes, so it was flavoured with rosemary, thyme and chilli. It tasted amazing!

DD decided she needed clothes for school (she doesn't need to wear uniform now) so we went off to Lakeside .
Poring with rain, puddles like lakes , still cars speeding along with no bloody lights

Had dinner - sausages for DS , Quorn sausage for DD/DH/me , yorkshires (Aunt B) , chips, mash, cauli cheese,peas,gravy .

Shops are slowly getting the Christmas stock in, few Hallowe'en bits too.

I don't like Halloween. So boring. The dc like it but it's just a hassle to me.

Tesco had a few Christmas bits and bobs in this afternoon. Nothing spectacular though.

I've had a proper 'Autumn afternoon' today. Did the ironing while dinner was cooking. Cleaned DS's shoes and supervised him packing his school bags. I'm going to collapse in front of the TV with a cup of tea and my crochet to wait for the last episode of the Bodyguard.

I'm going to visit my Mum at the weekend and I'm staying overnight with my eldest sister. All of my brothers and sisters (there are a bajillion of us) are taking Mum out - I'm looking forward to it but it will be bittersweet.

I'm with you Wreck. I've never liked Halloween. I much prefer Bonfire Night.

Fluffy , Dsis wasn't too bad tbh but l am ever alert/hypersensitive to her ridiculous moaning about things and ppl. She can't really say anything without me pricking my ears up..... and thinking she is being horrible . Your meal sounded delicious

must remember Fluffy birthday 31st October my DB & SIL wedding anniversary that day , honestly who on earth would get married then MY BROTHER!

DS2's back, had chicken and king prawn yaki udon for supper, DS2's in bed, DD will go at 8.30. 😋🍗🍤🍜😴

My sister and bill got married on Halloween.

It's a school night this year and a day that dd has swimming lessons. Hassle. Hassle. Hassle.

Fluffy I find the same with silver/grey/white cars in the fog. Fog lingers all day here and these cars just seem to loom out of the ether at you.

Before DC we just used to either go out or go to bed very early on Halloween night but once the children were around we had to show willing. Luckily a local country park do a fantastic 'Spooky Walk' through the woods including drama students from the local college dressed up and hiding in the trees. Great fun.
