Dd is up and gone to her basketball match, dh took his work bag as there’s no point in coming g home in between. I’m getting ready for Cubs, but can’t get washing in the line yet as I need DD’s sports gear to add in before I run the wash.

A neighbor is coming in for supper tonight so I’ll get the food shopping shortly - going to do a roast chicken with the last of the tarragon in butter under its skin. And something for dessert.

Doing wash, then going to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast. 🍳 No line drying here, a 90% chance of rain today. ☔

Morning all!. We’ve travelled up to the family now and are watching my little sister play her first football match this morning. It’s absolutely freezing and I haven’t packed a thick coat!. Hopefully it warms up as the day goes on. Hope you all have s good day!

Heavy you need to invest in a warm coat (voice of experience of many years on touch line for various sports).
Today, I am finishing off bits with DD before we drive her to uni tomorrow. DS will drive himself and then it will just be DH, me and my Christmas planner!

We did the master bedroom already, so I'm tidying the garden this afternoon. After we've been to a kids' party, that is!

I'm just off into town to pick up my bargain cushions from M&S which were spotted by someone on the bargain thread. That's my parents done now as I got dad some books and I've also got other bits for mum. I'll probably do the shopping bag and RHS diary for Christmas and the cushions for her birthday in January.

I need to sort my sister out before we visit in Oct as her birthday is in December. I'll probably get a kindle voucher as she loves reading.

It's all coming together!

Our washing dried overnight and we set the other load to finish at 7am, so at 7 I was getting the dry washing in and putting the next lot out. Our bedding will be done in the morning.

Non stop rain here - there was flooding on some roads on my way to work yesterday!
I'm just back from town where I did a few necessities (glasses replair and having a new battery put into a watch) and browsed a few Christmas displays. Also started my search for a gorgeous but sensible journal / organiser / planner / diary if anyone has any suggestions? The ones I found weren't great.

Am quickly pushing the hoover around and giving my winter coat a brush down before meeting dm and Dsis for lunch at 1

Anyone else on 'heating-testing' mode? It doesn't need to be on for long, but the edge needs to be taken off as it gets chilly.

It’s absolutely freezing by me! The fire was on as soon as we got in to my dads. I love feeling cold and can’t wait to get home tomorrow and put the fire on.

I'm chilly! Dd is wearing a woolly hat and sitting under a blanket 🤣

DD had a bitesize breakfast, I had eggs and bacon, she had a Pizza Express margherita pizza for lunch. 😋🍳🍳🍕

I've been putting it on every morning for an hour to dry clothes Fluffy. There'll be another batch of uniform to put on tomorrow.

It's a new hat and she loves it it's not really that cold but there's a definitely drop in the temperature

The boys love cosy nights here so the fires on all the time!. John has started saying ‘Santa coming’ so the Christmas spirit has definitely rubbed off on him!.

We’re going to get some decorations for outside the house this year so will go shopping for them soon!

I've had my bobble hat on in the allotment / garden the last two days. Definitely an autumn chill about!

Our washing is still drying outside, so no heating for that. Just nesh me! 😂

Been to the parents and shopped a huge shop for them, came home and watched the first 3 episodes of Bodyguard again , honestly it is fantastic , l don't watch many tv proggies twice but this is an exception. I do hope Dave slash David is a good guy though sigh
Weather is just awful here , it has gone a bit chilly too but holding out till at least October till we put it on, DH has reliably informed me that we have no more rain for 2 weeks after Sunday believe it when l see it
