Just ordered a load more presents and have almost finished sorting out the sitting room :) Can't wait for Strictly tonight!

Everything I have bought so far is wrapped :)

I wrap at the end as I choose my paper once I've seen what's what. It's probably easier to wrap as you go though!

We are sorting Lego as part of our sorting of the living room for the grand plan. Can't wait til it's done. So many teeny bits!

Fluffy good going on sorting out the Lego, that stuff takes ages to sort.

No wrapping till it's all bought here too, I make an evening of it once the kids are in bed.

I used to do mine all in one go but I hated it so trying this way now :) Sitting room is done. We need to get some lamp shades and flower pots but they might have to wait until after Christmas.

Cake is finished :) Wilf is poorly so poor Gabe is having a very dull birthday, but at least there is cake!

Costco had a few Christmas items (mainly the chocolates in the tower of boxes ) and an Advent calender (beauty items) but I didn't recognise the brand.

M&S had a few cards and paper. Some "The Snowman" (without The Snowdog) wrap , cards, black./white sketched deer and polar bear pictures.

I do gift bags and boxes mainly , lined with tissue and tied with ribbon. (But I am tempted by The Snowman )

I wrap everything in one go otherwise I forget what I’ve brought, it makes me feel very Christmassy as well.

Have had a busy day. The dc have been awful and the class bear is traumatise from observing their horrendous behaviour and one shouty mum, we've all been in tears at one point or another. Anyway. Have washed dried and folded two loads of washing, made a trial of apple pie porridge which ds ate all up so will do that again, have hoovered downstairs, dusted, cleaned the kitchen, listed loads of things on eBay, cooked dinner etc, done ds' spellings with him which was another traumatic experience. Am looking forward to strictly, dd was too but I've told her she's not allowed to watch it because of her behaviour which makes me sad as I was looking forward to us watching it together.

My DS ( 18yo) and I did a trial run of his journey to University , what bus/train , platforms , what line .
Then I bought him a MaccyD lunch and he talked about random stuff (mainly his guitar and Boris Johnson , at least he's moved on from Donald Trump )

It seems so long ago that he was a tiny blonde hair boy with a high voice , whittering on about Thomas the Tank Engine. He's 5'10" with a beard .

Then he goes off out with mates and tells us we'll see him in the morning.

( BTW , DS doesn't do Christmas . Luckily I have DD as my Partner in Christmas Crime )

We went for a walk earlier and it was very chilly and rainy. There’s leaves everywhere as well. It’s so lovely this time of year!

DS has gone to bed in Christmas pyjamas tonight (I bought a job lot in the Next sale in this size, so it's Christmas jammies or nothing until he's bigger!) as he was cold.

Does anyone else have utterly exhausted small children? It's been bloody traumatic I our house today! 😂

I do a "Squeee" when I see conkers on the trees and I'm trying to work out when they'll fall. DH work has loads of mature horse chestnut trees in the grounds. We used to wait for the 'Right' weekend and go our armed with a couple of bags , dressed in gloves and wellies .

They are both at me .

DS generously says I can relive it all when DD has my grand children (he's not getting involved in all that malarky )
