We didn't find out with ds1 but did with dd1. They are 13 months apart but even then we still had to buy a load of new stuff for her.

I was let loose in Matalan today. There Christmas stuff is out in store now and I did spend a small fortune .

So we have discussed it at lengths and finally have a name for if we have a LB!. So excited now! It’s all going to feel real.

I’m so happy regardless of what we have but must admit I would like another boy. When I was little I always dreamt of being a mum to 4 boys as it felt very old fashioned to me for some reason. But at the same time I’d love a little girl to have someone like me.

Morning! Awake in the hope that DS2 doesn't wake up before 5. In bed drinking coffee.

Morning all :) I want to get some decent Christmas prep don't this weekend. Am loosely following the grand plan. The garden is done and the sitting room almost done. Want to finish that this weekend and the entrance hall. Plus order some more presents and do more wrapping.

I have sent you a PM by the way constantly :)

Heavy in the old days if a family had all boys they used to dress the youngest as a girl for the first couple of years dh is one of four boys and the youngest but not old enough to have had this

Morning! Forecast to chuck it down all day today! At least it's bedding my trees and bulbs it at the allotment! Not sure of any other positives though. 🤔🤔

Today we are going to get the living room more sorted I think. If the kids can cooperate a bit.

Yes raining all day here too :( DS has gymnastics this afternoon but will probably brave softplay this morning as the park isn't an option.

I think it's meant to be cloudy here but it's nice atm. No rain forecast over the next ten days. I'm ready for autumn but the weather isn't having it

We're going to Croxfest today. The forecast for Croxley looks good, I think the rain's going to hit the north of Hertfordshire. 😆

Single parent to my DS who will be 2.9 at Christmas. First 2 were a bit of a washout! I think I overwhelmed the poor lad and thats before the grandparents got their hands on him Hopefully he will be a bit more aware this year!!

Slightly bittersweet as it will be first Xmas without his dad living with us (though we have a very amicable relationship so will probably still do some Christmassy things together).

Fluffy fingers crossed for the job interview!

Received the letter to apply for dd2 secondary school place today, I actually cried, it's really starting to hit home this year just how grown up my children are now (they turn 18 & 11 next month).

But on the plus side, managed to book front row seats for a tribute group concert (they cover Kylie, ariana, little mix etc). It's in Feb half term so will wrap as an Xmas gift for dd2. Her best friend and her mum (who's a close friend of mine) are coming with us, so I think dd will be very happy. Not quite the real thing, but a good introduction to big concerts for them.
