I went to my local craft store today - I ban myself going in there if I've got ongoing projects but I need to sew badges on DS' jumper, they had so many christmas things out! I'm waiting for the bigger christmas cross stitch projects to come out, I'm doing one at the moment but it's a mess, the colour instructions are awful.

Heavy, what time is the scan? So exciting!

I found out the sex with all of mine Heavy. It was accidental with DD1 as I needed a scan to see if I had to have a section and then DD1 only wanted a sister so we thought it best to find out in case we needed to do some damage limitation. She wanted to swap her sister for a brother after 2 weeks so it just seemed obvious to find out with the 3rd one (DS).

We found out with Lorcan and John. But we kept it a surprise with Arthur.

We’ve finally decided on a girls name and we have our final two boys names. So everything’s happening at the right time

Picked DS2 up, had chicken and bacon pasta bake with garlic and cheese bread, will buy ordinary garlic bread next time because only I liked it, DS2 will go to bed at 8. 😋🍗😴

DD's school shoes arrived and fit perfectly! 😆

The only one I found out with was DS2, because DH wanted to know. I asked the sonographer how sure she was, she said "there's a definite scrotum!" 😂

We didn't find out with either of ours. I'd have found out with DS, but DH didn't want to, so we didn't. It's good fun not knowing.

The consultant knew I didn't know during DS' c-section, and when she found out while getting into me, she said 'I know what you're having!' in a sing-song voice. But she didn't tell us for another few minutes when she lifted him out. It was funny!

We found out with DS because DH wanted to. So glad we did in the end as due to exhaustion I was completely numb emotionally when DS was born, I am glad I got that excitment at 20 weeks :)

Evening all
Men came to look at the bathroom and were very very nice. They are going to give them a wet room and put splash boarding all around the walls so only the one wall will be tiled now the rest will be boarded and a vinyl floor , Mum can pick the colours she likes so all is good. Going to start the 22nd of October
DD1 has decided what she wants for Christmas YAY!

MrsMad you are lovely. She has texted and she has arrived safely. She will be living with her boyfriend so I know she will be safe but her little lip was trembling as they drove off this afternoon. I think with everything going on with DM being terminally ill she is more worried about leaving me than starting the new chapter in her life.

I'm going to buy her some new Christmas bedding as a surprise - she will be home for a reading week in October first, then the next time will be only a few days before Christmas so I can surprise her with all my decorations.

PSB thank God he had a winkie to go with it ! TMI we had cheese bread and it was delicious (tonight)think l would love the garlic and cheese bread too ....yummy!
Woolly aren't the DC so funny when they are presented with the baby in front of them , my DD1 tried to give her newborn DS, a wotsit and a wotsit kiss
Heavy enjoy the scan tomorrow then you can start speaking the names to yourself and decide which one you want

Woolly, your DD is only just across the county border, isn't she? I'm sure she'll be fine! It's not too far to come for home comforts.

Ahhh Woolly that is such a lovely DD you have there, she loves you very much indeed, bless her heart.
I am so sorry about your DM being terminally ill it is not easy l know .Woolly .....YOU are lovely my dear and here is a great big hug and kiss from me to you, just because us mums know how hard life is sometimes and there is nothing for it but to get our heads down and take each day as it comes and be there for each other X galore .

We found out with the other 3 but we decided for our last child we'd experience not finding out, I have days I feel fine and other days I think what have I done!
