The bargain I spotted today was WHSmith in store has some lego blind bags on BOGOF. The Simpson was £1.49 BOGOF and series 16 was £2.99 BOGOF.
Might help as stocking fillers

Argh, had friends over all day and just checked in and I missed the thread end . I’m so sorry I have failed you all. Thank you auorie for helping me out, great title!

aurorie11 · 27/08/2018 17:45

You're welcome @Reastie didn't want to tread on your toes but panicked when I saw the previous thread was at 999

I’m dithering over these lego boxes on AliExpress for my ds’s. I thought they’d be useful for bringing lego out and about, as they fold down to make a base plate. But they’re very small (19x10x5cm folded). I’m trying to decide if I’d be better to pimp a small suitcase with a base plate. Has anyone seen anything similar anywhere? Or any kind of take-and-play type lego container?

Tesco had the kindle fire at £59 (£20 off) dont know how this compares with black friday / prime deals but might be worth a look. There were discounts on echo & other bits too.

schooltripwoes · 27/08/2018 18:07

@TryingtobePrepared probably comparable but the problem with buying electrical good too early is that a good chunk of the warranty is expired before it's even out the box. I'd probably take the risk and leave it for now and hope that the Black Friday deals are good.

Lacypants · 27/08/2018 18:09

waves popped into b+m earlier to get some toys to bribe the kids to behave while I assembled flatpack furniture bits and bobs, and the Christmas sweetie aisle was up and running. Didn't look coz kids, but I'll be all over it next week when the kids return to school.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2018 18:13

I think BF deals on Amazon tech are relatively predictable / guaranteed, so I'd wait until then, to be honest. Most retailers also price match BF deals too.

gaggiagirl · 27/08/2018 18:21

I was in asda yesterday and bought marvel mashems 79p each. Thought they were ok stocking fillers.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 27/08/2018 18:23

Just checking in. Would love to find some Lego bogof figures!!

Someaddedsugar · 27/08/2018 18:24

I know it’s been mentioned previously (really sorry for repeating) but is there a standard annual % off or 3 for 2 at Mothercare? Just looking at a few bits and pieces for younger family members and also the Happyland Christmas set to go in a Christmas Eve box.

Someaddedsugar · 27/08/2018 18:27

@GirlWithTheYellowHat there are lots of ‘buy 3 get 1 free’ minifigure offers on eBay if that helps? DSIL bought some for party bags earlier this year.

Fell off the thread. Thanks.

The Harry potter bracelet on thread 1 are ace. Just opened mine after holidays

WreckTangled · 27/08/2018 19:13

Ugg ear muff headphones reduced to £38 and free delivery plus TopCashback. I might regret posting this as I want them for myself but have no money until Friday. Leave some for me Grin

escape · 27/08/2018 19:15

Our Sainsbury's had some Harry Potter bits reduced - there were bade packs at 90p and keyrings at the same price and wand pens at about £3 and couldron mugs at £5

BuffyFairy · 27/08/2018 19:21

Grin must be good @carrotvan to have 3 copies! I'll look out for those others. Sharks and space in particular are loved topics here.

Not a particular bargain but M&S had 20% off on Sparks for Kids trousers and skirts (good for last minute school uniform shopping) and kid's accessories. They have some gorgeous bags in.

Girlsnightin · 27/08/2018 19:24

Do not need sheepskin earphones, repeat, do not need shee........

SheStoodInTheStorm · 27/08/2018 19:30

Checking in!

Found a Playmobil set in a charity shop today for £8. Was meant to be putting it away for DD's birthday but she saw it and I caved. She played with it all afternoon!

Now on the look out for a decent price on the park.

Youvegotafriendinme · 27/08/2018 19:31

Had an email from the entertainer and they have a mini 50% off sale with most things averaging £6. Looking through it seems to be mainly for ages 5+ and lots of crafty type sets. Hope someone finds something
