What do you guys have for breakfast on Christmas Day?

We're going out for dinner so I'm planning a nice breakfast. We always have Bucks Fizz!

We always have smoked salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough (or other posh bread) toast.

MouseRatFan · 24/08/2018 22:09

Last year we had a variety cereal pack for the kids which they loved. Then we had orange and cinnamon muffins with coffee.....then lots of chocolate!

snuffykins · 24/08/2018 22:10

Crunchy nut cornflakes Grin
It's tradition.

hoppipopla · 24/08/2018 22:10

Bacon butties and some fizz!

MrsPnut · 24/08/2018 22:11

Waitrose cook from frozen pastries, we have them every year.

argumentativefeminist · 24/08/2018 22:12

Bacon, sausage and egg sandwiches and lots of posh coffee.

AuntieStella · 24/08/2018 22:14

Nothing, as I'll be off to Parkrun. And shall rehydrate after it on Buck's Fizz.

Cherrysherbet · 24/08/2018 22:14

Nigellas Christmas morning muffins with plenty of proper butter 😋 I always send the kids round to my neighbours with a batch each too 🎄

Isadora2007 · 24/08/2018 22:15

If eating later we have a fry-up. Always croissants and I often make pancakes.
For some reason I also have to buy Tropicana juice (with bits!!) or eldest ds says it just isn’t the same...

Oh and chocolate is also a breakfast item on Xmas day...

MsMiaWallace · 24/08/2018 22:20

It would be rude not to have chocolate!

Feeling the pancake idea.

Bacon butties and fizz here. After stockings but before presents.

Japril · 24/08/2018 22:23

Smoked salmon, scrambled egg, blinis and champagne. Kids will have the bits of this that they like and a selection box!

Fstar · 24/08/2018 22:34

Waffles, whipped cream and fruit.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/08/2018 22:39

Those Jus-Roll slice&bake pastries (Cinnamon Bun or Pain au Raisin)

Croissants with a piece of chocolate wedged inside then warmed

Pancakes with syrup

DH has egg and toast

Loads of coffee Xmas Grin

kirinm · 24/08/2018 23:01

Eggs benefit and my son loves smoked salmon so he has that. With a shed load of Buck's Fizz and morning cocktail!

kirinm · 24/08/2018 23:01

Benedict not benefit.

elQuintoConyo · 24/08/2018 23:04

Pancakes. DS last year received a gingerbreadman-shaped frying pan in his stocking Grin

Good coffee, good orange juice.

No alcohol. We'll have wine with Chistmas dinner at 7pm.

Bimgy85 · 24/08/2018 23:04

Fry up.

FabulousTomatoes · 24/08/2018 23:06

Eggs Benedict and Champagne for brunch
Canapés as snacks in between
Christmas dinner mid-late afternoon

Iloveacurry · 24/08/2018 23:07

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, plus toast. Yum 😋 And a buzz fizz.

Iloveacurry · 24/08/2018 23:08

*bucks! 😂

SpoonBlender · 24/08/2018 23:09

Pancakes and bacon and a fried egg. And coffee. Soooo gooooood.

Actually that's a normal Saturday breakfast too.

EekThreek · 24/08/2018 23:13

All the GPs come round to see the kids, bacon butties all round. And bucks fizz, it's The Law.

pachiano1 · 24/08/2018 23:15

Selection boxes usually

RedneckStumpy · 24/08/2018 23:17

Proper American sausage biscuits and gravy.
