Morning!

What a hot night last night. Typically DS decided to join us at 1.30am, so I had to turn the fan off as it would disturb him. It was a teeny bit warm with the extra body, but never mind, he only comes in 1-2 times a week when it used to be every night!

Today is my Thursday. Woooo!

Morning! Went to the PTA meeting, the summer fair is nearly upon us! Now in McDonald's trying to sort out DS2's temporary tablet and having a pancakes and sausage meal. 😋

The DC are at Adventure. Had a pulled pork burrito for supper. 😋

Where's everyone gone today? Out enjoying the sunshine no doubt!

I posted here this morning but l must have lost it again!
Never mind it was my usual drivel
I have been to see the NDN in hospital , the poor man, l cut his nails they were like talons and full of filth, l had to have a row with the nurses to give me a bloody scissors, 'mine are blunt' said one, 'we are not allowed to cut a patients nails' said another in the end the Dr heard the row and gave me hers to use bless her .
Been to the P.O TO collect a parcel and a set of Dads army stamps for Christmas yay at last a christmas present bought!!
Then this afternoon while watching the footie l noticed the Blorenge mountain was on fire and and had to ring the fire brigade !! I know you think l am a fantacist , l just know it lol, anyway they beat it out with massive shovels and it is out now, they are still there watching it atm , aren't they marvellous !
PSB Carol the weathers top was awful today l have tweeted her and told her MORE PRETTY DRESSES PLEASE lol
Right better go have tea DH is doing it as l speak , cheese and tomato quiche and salad yummy!!
Hope DS is better Woolly and that you get a better night sleep tonight Fluffy , fingers crossed.

He's there or thereabouts MrsMad. I think it was viral - he's still got a bad throat but the high temperature has gone thank goodness. We've had to postpone his taster day at his new school until after his PGL trip. I hope he doesn't come back with a broken arm.

We've just come in from the garden. I've been weeding the strawberry patch / picking strawberries (got another kg of them; not many left now!). I've also been liberating loganberries from next door (their side and ours!) to make a small quantity of jam from those too. Hopefully it'll be nice (I'll give them a jar too).

I've been moving the runners from the strawberries to where there are gaps, so we will have more plants next year!🙈😱 Some will die off soon though, so fresh blood is needed!

And exciting evening for you, Mrs. Can't beat watching firemen in action!

Yet another glorious day up here. And it's my Friday, yay! Awful night's sleep last night though. Too damn hot!

How's your DS today, Woolly? Poor sausage!

We are dressing down today due to the weather, though we do have air con so it isn't so bad on the office!

DS has his final transition day at school today. He's so excited to be going in September. 😁

Morning all
Am off up to parents to wash and dress mum and sort them out for the day and then take her to the DRs for the follow up appt re 'the legs '
We have an appt with the Care & repair lady too re them getting the bathroom turned into a shower room . It will be much easier for them . Their lives have been transformed by the chair lift, such a simple piece of equipment yet vital for their day to day lives
The firemen were there for a long time because they had to make sure the fire was completely out underground , like Saddleworth Moor it is peat and mineral based so very combustable!!
I am on permanent fire watch now !! lol
PSB did not like Carol the weathers outfit today ...very drab ... have tweeted her my critique and displeasure

Hi! DD will be on her way to her maths competition now, went to see my psychotherapist, went to the Sainsbury's café, had fish and chips. 😋🐟🍟

How do you feel about your DS starting Fluffy? Relieved or weepy? It was lovely when DS2 started properly, 6 hours to myself! 😆 I was weepy with DS1, because he's my eldest.

Have packed a bag with snacks for DS2 for the park: an orange Lindt bar (obviously with an ice pack), an apple and cheese curls (like own brand Quavers). 😋🍫🍎

Picked DS2 up, bought him an ice pole from the PTA, in the park. 😆

I'm OK about it. Its the end of the preschool era, and they'll both be in the same place again, which makes it easier!

I'll still be weepy as my baby boy starts school, and he's not even quite 4 yet, so is a little one, but I know he'll love it. He dodgy want to leave today, bless him.

Picked DD up at 4.45, had royal chicken biryani for supper, DS2 will go to bed at 7. 😋🍗😴

In the middle of the match a young lad about 20 came to the door with a portfolio of the most awful paintings you have ever seen, I excused myself by explaining the match was on and it was unfortunate timing but offered him a drink, he accepted a cold can of diet coke like l had given him the earth bless him , such a lovely young man for some reason my heart really went out to him . I suppose it was the fact that he was around my DDS age and l could see what a futile effort it was the paintings were awful. Think oil paintings done by Chinese painters mass market for import and you would get the gist of it . I think it is probably a bit of a scam tbh ....... have put a pic on of the sort of thing it was .
Anyway took mum to the DR and she was very pleased with her , doesn't need to see her again until the next crisis Yay!
Shower room nearly sorted, Disability badge reapplied for and RELAX , honestly the parents are an enormous amount of work. l could not do it if l was still working , DH helps me loads as well bless him. I don't begrudge doing it for them at all don't get me wrong .
OMG Belgium have just scored it doesn't matter though they are both through to the last 16 .
