I've just discovered I'm more organised than I thought , I have a pack of 250 red/white paper straws in the Christmas Cupboard.

My DC use those stainless steel straws -they go in the dishwasher , re-useable a millionty times and far more environmentally friendly than plastic straws . Even though they remind me of the guinea-pigs water bottles !

That eye pallette is gorgeous Firefly , my DD is a huge fan of UD and has a couple of theirs.
She's got TooFaced and KatVonD too so I reckon she's covered but all those shades in Smokey would be very wearable for her (and me , we're similar eye/hair colour but I don't really wear make-up)

We are going for a walk to Brecon just now before it gets too hot , my DD is having her exam this morning and she will ring us after 11 to let us know how she thinks she did .She has worked so hard toward this exam, l so hope she does well bless her ,fingers crossed all round !

DS is poorly today so I'm keeping him company while finishing off a blanket for Woolly Hugs and watching Dan-Tedium on YouTube. My body is melting under the blanket and my brain is melting from Minecraft overload. 😂

I completely forgot about Rudolph Day! Oops!

We had a great Cub Camp over the weekend though - scorching temps so I had to go off and buy even more supplies of squash half way through (we'd bought extra, and stocked up on sunscreen as well!). But there was only 1 incident (a new Cub who is very slight and totally wiped herself out with physical activity - when Cub woke up after a very deep 4 hour "nap" was upset and wanted Mammy, who almost expected a call and happily came down to collect, Cub calmed enough to enjoy the campfire while parents were driving, then headed home as the others headed to bed (literally perfectly timed arrival!), but Cub's sibling stayed on until the end yesterday, also very slight and also we could see was very close to a similar exhaustion wall, but battled through, and we had a couple to mind/watch especially this year as lots of new Cubs some of whom are very small for their age).

Work is slightly less frantic this week - plenty to get done but no mad deadlines like the past few weeks.

I have a couple of "Thank You" presents to get for various people today - parents who have given lots of lifts to DD, the resource teacher, the 2 teachers who organize the extracurricular activities, ....before DD "graduates" on Wednesday morning. So I'm off out now to see what I can get.

I can't see it on my phone Woolly. 😭

I call him Dan Tedium too, much to the chagrin of my DC! 😂

Re: potty training, just make the most of the nice weather and confine them to the garden with no pants on until they learn. You have my sympathy, though - DS took 5 months for it to properly click, but it suddenly just did.

Biddy you must have the patience of a saint! I remember camp from when I was younger (Boys Brigade, rather than Scouts though), it can't have been fun for the leaders!
