I believe it's day 190

HOW did we get past the 200 mark so fast? And only 12 Days until Christmas in July starts, for anyone who celebrates that.

Evening all Smile
Well what a day l have had Grin
Firstly we went to the GP'S BOTH OF US!!! Shock I think the clearing up of the connifer did the both of us in and we had to go !
I had Gabapentin for my sciatica . Dr thinks the nerve is irritated and these should help it to settle down and DH had Tramadol for his shoulder and has to have an xray tomoz !! So we bit the bullet and went! Then took a present to a little girl l used to nurse , she was really well and it was lovely to see her again bless . Popped in to see NDN then went to the library then took mum to the gossip Dancing group, then home to get these tablets down us Grin
DH is already asleep mwahahahaha
Have a good night sleep everyone Smile

I'm glad you both went, Mrs. I'm hoping to go today; I need to call at 8.

X-rays aren't always useful for shoulder injuries. I had to have an x-ray AND ultrasound to determine whether I needed the steroid injection I had in 2011. I had them at the same time though, thankfully! I'll be pushing for the same again this time. And more / stronger painkillers!

We were kept awake by thunder rumbling for much of the night. Tired now!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 06:49

Morning! Same as usual! 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 10/08/2018 08:08

I'm seeing the GP at 9am, thankfully!

Redgreencoverplant · 10/08/2018 08:09

Good luck fluffy and glad you were seen Mrs :)

It is rainy and fairly chilly today so basically Christmas Grin

Redgreencoverplant · 10/08/2018 08:15

Just found this in my laptop bag from last year :)

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 08:16

Not quite Christmas here, but very autumnal, more rain in Kent where DD is. It's forecast to warm up tomorrow, she'll be back home by 10.30am, so she'll miss it. 😭

BiddyPop · 10/08/2018 08:23

There’s a definite chill in the air in Dublin this morning as well. And the nights are already drawing in - DH had to use lights driving DD home from scouts last night.

We had birthday cake and presents 2 days late for DH (he was away). And we’re in the throes of frantic holiday preparations- clear the desk at work (OMG there’s loads the clear! But I’m still making time for coffee with someone today), find everything in the laundry (mostly DD), buy loads of last minute things (today I have currency to get!)...but at least we have all day tomorrow to panic about it😂

I’m planning on buying loads for Christmas when on holidays though!

I said to DH that autumn is definitely on the way last night. The evenings are cooler even after a warm day. We'll have to start closing the greenhouse doors at night again!

My beetroot seedlings are coming through, which is quick as I only sowed them on Sunday! No sign of my Brussels or onions yet though.

Mrsmadevans · 10/08/2018 08:49

Morning all Smile
Well done Fluffy on the DR appt , it just has to be done in the end Flowers
PSB the usual routine for you m'dear , nothing wrong with that , consistency is excellent in life l think Flowers very autumnal here too , nights drawing in, we are trying to fatten up the hedgies before they hibernate.
Biddy you have loads to do for your hols but l know you will do it all , you are amazing Flowers
In fact flowers for everyone ! FlowersGrin
Red, l read last Christmas mags in the Drs yest , loved reading them , must remember to get the GH one when l am shopping next.
DH off to the Xray this morning and then up the parents for a good couple of hours.
We had quite a good night so fingers crossed the tabbies are working !
Have a great day everyone Smile

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 08:55

We don't get hedgies down here Mrs, we're in the basement, surrounded by walls. We concentrate mostly on the birds and bugs. I also have my solitary bee house, but no tenants this year. 😭

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 09:24

I've just asked DS2 if he'd like to go and see Father Christmas at the Portobello Winter Wonderland again this year, he said yes. 😆 It's such a shame that they don't have the Literacy Trust Father Christmas at Whiteleys anymore. We went for 4 years. 😭

Mrsmadevans · 10/08/2018 09:53

PSB your home sounds amazing like an olde worlde massive Georgian house on a London square like in Eaton square in Upstairs Downstairs! 'Mr Hudson that there Ruby needs a talking to l saw her wiping the grease off the pan with her apron ....silly girl ' lol.
I wish the bees come to you my dear , l worry for their future and ours tbh. We went to Hamleys in Cardiff to see Sanat and it was just lovely, too old now of course Sad but every year we go at least twice to see Santa in Tredegar House , l adore it Xmas Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 10/08/2018 10:00

X-ray referral and a telling off for not going to A&E when I fell. Oops! Plus lots of lovely drugs!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 10:18

I wish Mrs! We live in a basement flat in a Victorian house. It's actually quite big, but the bedrooms are huge, the TV room, bathroom and kitchen are tiny.

WickerHippo · 10/08/2018 12:10

Afternoon all, I’m absolutely shattered. Fred didn’t sleep for most of the night, he just wanted to be fed. Family have come down to visit again today. We both have separated parents for we have 4 sets of parents all in all, along with my two DSIS who are only young. The house is full!. It’s a lovely break for my three eldest boys and Julian (my eldest) gets on really well with DSIS2 who is close to his age.

It’s started to rain again here, it’s so lovely. Just wish it would rain in the evenings instead so we could all snuggle up by the fire with the tv on.

We’re finally settled into our new house as well, all the kids rooms are decorated. Our three eldest are sharing a room, that’s down the stairs from us, So wish us luck!.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 10/08/2018 15:34

Had chicken in red wine and thyme sauce with potatoes in creamy garlic sauce for lunch, dropped DS2 off at Adventure, had cranberry and lime juice and Kettle chips in the Sainsbury's café. 😋🍗

NoWordForFluffy · 10/08/2018 16:20

Have you got recipes for your sauces, PSB? I like to increase my recipe bank!

Sorry about the lack of sleep, Wicker. That's part of the reason why we decided against number 3 here!

WickerHippo · 10/08/2018 16:32

I’m used to it by now!. 4 boys 4 and under really doesn’t allow us much sleep. The family have taken the eldest boys out so me and DH have been allowed some alone time with Fred. It’s been lovely. Getting dinner on now, we’re having vegetarian cottege pie.

NoWordForFluffy · 10/08/2018 16:56

We have a 13 month gap which was bad enough! I couldn't have more than 2, it'd drive me mad. And I'm the main earner so it doesn't work financially either!

WickerHippo · 10/08/2018 17:06

Yeah, if my husband wasn’t the main earner we wouldn’t have had as many as we have. Wouldn’t change it for the world though, I’ve always wanted to be a mum

NerosFiddle · 10/08/2018 17:29

Fluffy I'm the same 2 dc, 13 months apart. That's enough for me too. Fair play Wicker. You are a stronger woman than me Grin

Biddy, I didn't know you were a Dub. For some reason I thought you were from Cork. Confused

Redgreencoverplant · 10/08/2018 17:35

I have one DS and am done 😂 Major respect for anyone with more than one.
