Nothing exciting here. I'll give them a choice of breakfast in the Sainsbury's café on Saturday or a Tolkien Society thing on Sunday, we'll probably do breakfast. 😆

I am seeing the girls I went to school with tonight, there are 4 of us who catch up regularly.

There will be pasta and much wine, not sure about the rest of the weekend though DP is away on a stag do so I will have the house to myself Saturday night!

Need to plan something for his birthday next Friday (same day as mine) we were supposed to be going away but have postponed it for the time being....

No plans here really. Going to a friends for dinner and drinks tomorrow night but I'll have to drive so no drinking for me.

Morning all! It is beautiful here today out for walk laters lol .
Up the parents today , mum called here yest and said 'a woman called Clair is coming tomorrow re the shower room adaptation'. This after much ringing around from me seven phone calls and half an hour wasted turned out to be Nigel the plumber from Care and Repair mwahahahaaha ! Can you see what l am up against lol.

DD1 homecoming was divine DH very pleased with the pressies, top pressies was Old Spice aftershave set lol, I bought him 100mls of Millionaire too he had loads! It's the little things I guess lol. However when asked re the fitbit to be sent back it was a resounding NO! So success! Thank you for helping me out with it, have a great day everyone.

My grandad has just been ambulanced to hospital to hospital with sepsis. I hate this part of growing up I still have all of my grandparents, I am so worried

Did shopio for NDN and popped in to see him and then had a good walk down the river. It felt quite Spring like this afternoon.
Have had a few too many hot cross buns and am feeling bit full mwahhahaha serve me right!

The DC came back at 3, we had Thai red chicken curry for supper. 😋🍗

I did stir fry, noodles and dim sum for tea as it is Chinese New year, we also put up our zodiac bunting....
Then chocolate ice cream in cones for pudding

We got paid today so went and did some naughty shopping!

Morning! DS has woken me shouting in his sleep. He's still asleep; how I wish I was!

Haircuts today. Might plant my potatoes out too as they're well-chitted now.

We're all up here. Dd came into my bed really early, no idea what time. She's 7 and does annoying things like taps my back

well-chitted lol, l do know what it means but when you write the words l really like them , funny that , they remind me of my Dad and DH and BIL talking about them, l think that is why l like them , reminders of family life are precious, they evoke memories for me , thank you all so much for sharing yours .
Just woke up, late today was very tired from yesterday though so that is fine, going to walk up town and pop to see NDN , family coming to see DD1 as well, am just wading throught the mountain of washing she bought home lol .
