Picked up DD's Ravenclaw costume from Asda for World Book Day, she's going as Luna Lovegood but in uniform. She is Luna Lovegood! Intelligent but spacey. Having breakfast in the Asda café, a cheese omelette and a medium hazelnut latte. The food in here tastes weird.

It's a cracking drying day here, Sprouts! Sunny and windy as hell!

We have 2 loads out there. Probably dry already!

Lovely day here. I did all my washing yesterday though. Just getting ds' hair cut

Ah tumble drier here. Not nice dying weather here grrr. Summer is our best drying time it gets so hot!

I do a small wash every couple of days as we have no tumble dryer. I did one when I came back from Asda, just night clothes. So much less washing when the DC aren't here! Also, I'm saving a fortune on food! 😆😆😆😆

I got DS2's haircut on Sunday Wreck. He looks like this:

I'm jealous of the snow, we haven't had snow settle since March 2013 . Can't line dry here as it won't stop raining for long enough.

DD has an x-ray and cast change tomorrow, she is already getting worried about it!

I love Luna Lovegood! I think mine are a Griffindor and a Slytherin. Although they aren't interested in HP...

A Slytherin? I'd keep an eye on that one... 😉

The DC have been trampolining and ditch walking and are now making cupcakes. 😆

My dc went to a HP party this afternoon dd was Ginny and ds was harry. He's a bit young to care, dd(7) has read all the books at least three times each. She's obsessed!

So's my DD! She's 10, she started reading them when she was 9, last July. I hoped she'd be Hermione again, as she already has the costume from Halloween, but no, she wanted to be Luna, specifically in uniform. I googled, and luckily Asda are doing all 4 houses. DS2 will be Harry, he's become obsessed by osmosis, although he can barely read (he's 6), but he's seen all the films (yes, even the 12's #badmum).

DS has fish fingers in his Happy Meal, DD chicken nuggets. Neither is keen on cheese. #ifihadntgivenbirthtothemidthinktheywerentmychildren

Mine love the idea of McDonald's but aren't actually that keen. Actually they love the pancakes and in New Zealand you can get them all day. They even do happy meal pancakes.

Mine have had 3 McDonald’s to date. It’s a very rare treat!

Mine used to get McDonald's once a week after clubs, but it was a long walk over the Thames, now we have a massive Sainsbury's with a café on our doorstep, so we go there instead. The day before they go back to school every holiday, we have a McDonald's breakfast. I used to let them choose, but they started always saying McDonald's.

Morning. It's Friday, finally! (Why do 4 day weeks at work feel so much longer than 5 days?!)

I've got a Trial I'm preparing for this week. I can get it finished today and - kind of - put it behind me until the day itself. I inherited the file, so I'm not as invested in the result as I would be if it had been mine from the get go! Still want to win, but won't take it personally if I don't. 😁

What are people's weekend plans? We are having haircuts tomorrow and I think we are off to Speke Hall on Sunday. They've got some great walks through woodland there which the kids love!
