I do not flip, I do not toss, I turn carefully with a palette knife. I feel like I have made about 100 of the darned things tonight :)

SallyLockhartsDog · 13/02/2018 19:01

Me too fridge, neither a flipper nor a tosser! We had crepes, I can't do pancakes Confused

We love it Mrs, my DS 17months dances to the theme tune Grinβ™₯

FridgeCut · 13/02/2018 19:13

I always do crepes on pancake day, we do other sorts at other times of the year.

Ds told me today that he's going to live with me forever and if he has to move out he will have pictures of me all in the house, even outside Grin

Mrsmadevans · 13/02/2018 19:35

Wreck that is worth a million quid, what a little darling ! Aw bless him, what a lovely little boy . Never mind about the filling, next month is soon enough ! I hope you are an NHS patient it is so much cheaper than private . I paid Β£190 for a huge filling and a crown and xrays on the NHS last June. If I had to pay privately it would cost me about 4 x that !
Fridge...... beautiful crepes and your darling son is so sweet too awww. I think you/we, are all so blessed with our DC . Although mine are grown up now, 22 and 23 we still treat them like our babies lol.
Hope the crepes/pancakes went well and everyone enjoyed them.
Valentines day Tomoz !!!! Bring it on! Hope you all get spoiled rotton!

WreckTangled · 13/02/2018 19:48

Yes nhs thankfully and the dentist is really nice

Mrsmadevans · 13/02/2018 20:15

I am so glad for you , it is bad enough having to deal with the anxiety let alone if you had a nasty dentist too. That would guarantee a few missed appts from me !

WreckTangled · 13/02/2018 20:21

Definitely. It's taken us a while but we feel so lucky to have this one! The nurses and receptionists are all lovely let's just hope they stay nhs. He's really good with the dc too. Also when my crown fell out and when dh's tooth cracked the other day we phoned and they saw us the same day both times so they really are great. Still hate it though Grin

Dh has fallen asleep putting ds to bed. I've already been up to wake him up once..

SallyLockhartsDog · 13/02/2018 20:28

Fridge - do I spy Christmas plates Xmas Grin?!

(I had my hot chocolate in a Rudolph mug today!)

FridgeCut · 13/02/2018 20:33

Sally - yep! All year round for Wilf :)

SallyLockhartsDog · 13/02/2018 20:34

He is a true Christmas Elf [santa]. Your boys are beautiful!

I definitely over did the pancake eating tonight!

We read Christmas books all year round. DS' current bedtime favourite is The Dinosaur Who Pooped Christmas! πŸ˜‚

You're lucky to get a good dentist, Wreck. Ours is good, but not as accommodating as yours, I don't think.

WreckTangled · 14/02/2018 07:15

We read Father Christmas needs a wee last night

HairsprayBabe · 14/02/2018 07:24

We had double pancakes last night, savory beetroot pancakes, sort of like blinis with horseradish and beetroot yogurt, creamed chard and a fennel and rocket salad DP also had mackerel. For pud we had almond pancakes with whipped lemon and vanilla greek yogurt and blueberry compot I also made chocolate sauce for DP (spoiled!!)

Morning all.
Happy Valentine's day everyone!
Off for a walk soon going to www.gps-routes.co.uk/routes/home.nsf/routeslinkswalks/pontsticill-reservoir-walking-route
Hope the weather stays good ....not been here before but looking forward to it very much .
Wreck you have a brilliant dentist , it helps so much when you have this awful phobia , l am bad enough but l make myself go because l figure the more l look after them then the less trouble l will get with them, there is logic in there somewhere lol
I love you all reading to your DC , we did it too and favourites were Farmer Duck, Peepo , Dear Zoo,The jolly Postman, each peach pear plum and favourite of all , the last noo noo! Ahhh looking at them and remembering now brings back a warm glow to me , beautiful .
Hairspray .....words fail me , you are a brilliant cook , such presentation well done my dear I am in awe of your talent!
Have a great day everyone, hope you are loved and spoilt , take care .

SallyLockhartsDog · 14/02/2018 09:34

Happy Valentine's Day everyone β™₯🌹

I ban Christmas books till the 1st December - this makes me super unpopular. It seems a silly rule when we watch Christmas films all year round!!!

HairsprayBabe · 14/02/2018 10:36

Snowing here again! Just when I think spring might be round the corner winter blows back in again!

FridgeCut · 14/02/2018 10:52

I ban christmas films till December, I try and keep them special. My sister gave me a copy of Jingle Bells the book we had as children, gave me chills! www.amazon.co.uk/Jingle-Bells-Little-Golden-Book/dp/0553511122/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=jingle+bells+book&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1518605481&sr=8-11

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/02/2018 11:57

Mrsmad yes but you try getting a bra off the shelf for a 40AA! Swings and roundabouts. I've given up and buy crop tops.

NoWordForFluffy · 14/02/2018 20:42

God, Dear Zoo. Thankfully we are past that stage now! (Though DS still enjoys the 'That's not my... series.)

It's funny as DD wants a new story every night, but DS likes the same ones over and over. We've got loads of books though; I love them!

TheWoollybacksWife · 14/02/2018 20:49

I have had to keep Dear Zoo and Dear Santa - DS wouldn't let me give them away. He's 11 so unlikely to read them in the near future. They are in a cupboard though Grin

WreckTangled · 14/02/2018 20:50

We had pirates love underpants tonight. Ds loves a story Smile

We've got that one somewhere, Wreck! I buy loads of sets from the Book People so there's literally hundreds of books to choose from! DS still sticks to about 5 in rotation, however. πŸ˜‚

Hurrah for Thursday. So busy at work though, so I'm heading in early to get on top of it.

HairsprayBabe · 15/02/2018 07:33

I had Dear Zoo when I was little! Ruined all the lift the flaps on it because I was a naughty wrecker πŸ˜‚
I also liked the toymakers daugter, when jesse came across the sea and I'll love you for ever. Oh and the aliens are coming πŸ‘½

Mrsmadevans · 15/02/2018 08:32
