But it's not a leap year is it? The next one is 2020.

No. But a full year is 365 days. We are counting in sleeps.

We started on 365 last year and it ended up wrong as it counted down to Christmas Eve. So today is 365 sleeps to Christmas Day next year!

We can always correct it later, but 365 was definitely wrong last year!

Oh God I think I am gonna have to count it out nothing better to do crap on tv.... DH sulking

DH was sulking still is so I may have miscounted due to him being a dickhead lol

No babies here this year, either, although we may start thinking about it in the summer...

Not planning on any babies here, what with me changing jobs and attempting to get on the property ladder it isn't really great timing.... I have a feeling we miiight get engaged this year though... although I did say that last year

We are counting to Christmas Day. It was only CE this year as the numbers went wrong from the start. Hence being 366 this year. And maybe it's still wrong?!

May I join? Sadly I cannot take on the responsibility of a thread baby - the two I already have are quite enough to keep me busy. But I need a Christmas to look forward to due to having long term stress and so having had to do the bare minimum this year.

Tomorrow too for us. DH has just been out and cleared the snow off my car in preparation.

I've been in the kitchen dealing with the leftovers. We now have four parcels of turkey slices, a parcel of ham slices and two pints of ham and lentil soup in the freezer. I'm also boiling the turkey carcass for stock. I am an actual domestic goddess. I think the only festive food I've got left is some pistachios and a packet of mini chocolate puddings. Oh and a bag of sprouts that I'll serve with tonight's dinner.

Welcome AnotherShirt. We are a very friendly bunch and we definitely won't put you under pressure to have the perfect magazine shoot Christmas despite being Christmas nuts. In fact, I find it fascinating that we all do things differently and no way is 'the right way'

This was my first year without a believer. Strange, but nice, and it was amazing to get all the credit

I find myself left with lots of food and drink that I don't want , in reality I have yet again overdone it in more ways than one. I must rethink my buying next year. I love Christmas so much though lol I get carried away! I can't be the only one among us collapsing under a ton of food lol!

Foodbank is beckoning, hopefully they will be grateful of my excess I am sure.

I have cake (but I'll work through that slowly)
The guinea-pigs are eating all the veg and DH polished off the rest of the nut roast/quorn roast.

I bought less this year after working out in years gone by what we didn't need.
I have 2 mini Christmas puddings , couple of boxes of naice biscuits and a tin of shortbread.

I'm drowning in cheese...you all need to visit me for a cheese and wine party!

Honestly this is why you never trust me with anything important 😂😂

I bought 2 Christmas cakes and a Yule log . The Yule log was too unctuous for me I felt queasy eating it , thank God the dd2 polished it off for her brekky. Strong stomach my dd2 lol..... follows her dad. I tried the Christmas cake from Waitrose it is delicious but it is all too rich my stomach can't cope with all this rich food any more I tell you! Thinking about it .....perhaps the Yule log M&S Bailey's didn't help! I must do better next year I haven't even started on the nuts yet and have given up on the Rafaellos and the Lindt Coconut chocs....I love them usually they are all in a dish on the side waiting to be scoffed by ppl with stronger stomachs than me ....dd2 comes to mind, hey ho I must learn my lesson from this ! Ferrero Rosher anyone?

I don't even have cupboard space for all the food, it is cluttering up my kitchen sides and driving me mad. I'm meant to be going back to slimming world tonight and starting on plan from tomorrow but all this temptation

Hash can't you put it on top of the cupboards like moi ? I have thrown it all up top, think Tubs of Pringles , boxes of bisks ,Cheese straws from Aldi for the dips you understand don't get me started on the 3 fridges , yes you heard right 3 fridges well dd1 is a vegan and refuses to have anything to do with our food in our fridges ........ so she has a fridge to herself ....... I could go on and on ....ad infinitum

Luckily I haven't been hosting this year and am usually organised and well-prepared so the run-up to Christmas hasn't been too arduous. It's just that I looove Christmas and feel that I have missed out this year as I normally enjoy all the planning and preparations. I am determined that 2018 will be better.
