I butchered the buddleia today! The previous owners of this house just let it grow and grow, which is totally the wrong thing to do, and it had got really woody with thick branches. I've been sawing them down today. I want to try to contain it, so hopefully chopping some of the branches off will help!
I've planted some pea seeds too and some potatoes. I'll do more peas in a month or so to stagger the harvest and I've two more types of spud which are still chitting, but should go in soon. I still need to plant my indoors stuff. That's a job for about 30 minutes' time, once I've brought the 3 loads of washing in from the line!
I put the cat repellent pellets downs. They're bright green and smell rather interesting! It's apparently the smell which confuses the cat as the area no longer smells of shit, so they go to poo somewhere that does! Clever.
