Morning all! Huzzah for it being midweek today! I'm ready for the weekend. The good thing is that my job is busy, so the days fly past.

I just got caught in a hail shower on my way to the station. Simultaneously hilarious and ouchy all at once!

Half way through the working week for me! Two days left. Having got a particularly busy day but this morning is a bit tight time wise.

Anyone know when the cheapest time will be to buy ski bits? Not for actual skiing just for lapland

Aldi sometimes have skiing bits in, they have fishing bits in atm that include a good range of thermals!

Ceebs how lovely he is 2 years old ahhhh enjoy it so much I have a lovely warm feeling thinking about my own dd2 , it was beautiful weather and everybody came we had it in the garden with paddling pool and much suncream lol! LOVELY!
We are off to Cardiff this morning , want to walk the barrage down THE bay but may not be able to they had road works there before Christmas.

It's been a weird old weather day here. Alternating hail / torrential rain with sunshine. And very windy. My lunch time walk didn't happen, that's for sure! 😂

Thank god it's Thursday tomorrow. I need the weekend!

End of skiing season for ski stuff, Wreck, I think, so heading into late March / early April and shops will try to shift their over-stock.

Weather was glorious down Cardiff Bay , sunny and windy and cold and bracing ....just exhilarating! Your weather sounds awful Fluffy!!
Popped into the Pierhead Building to find there was a small exhibition from the schoolchildren from 5 local schools, who have made 2 quilts to commemorate WW1. They were just amazing so evocative and just beautiful . l have put the pictures here for you to see , bless them!

Our weather is nice today, so it must have moved up the country to get to us! Still bloody cold though.

However, I'm enjoying the lightening of the mornings and evenings. It's nice to see daylight at either end of my working day. Our office has no windows, so I feel a bit like a mole in winter! 😂😂

I can hear all the birds tweeting this morning! 🍃 🌷

Mad busy workweek here. Nothing Christmas happening except knitting on the train (plan for siblings) and a tiny bit of cross-stitch at home. Sleep more important!

Woolly.... the children who made the quilts are living not far from me and I was so touched they did this. They were done so well and had everything on them. Just amazing. I agree quilting is really hard I only tried it once using a sewing machine l found it boring tbh what a snowflake l am The quilts sounds like a band name lol are going on tour now so lots more ppl will be able to see them . So that will be brilliant .
Fluffy l am so glad the weather is better today for you my dear, also l think not being able to see out is just cruel. l don't know how you manage to do that . I suppose it is all relative and you are prob very used to it and don't mind? l would hate it with a passion! The lighter nights and mornings are very very welcome the days seem longer but omg the weeks are going so quickly it's unbelievable. It seems like ages since Christmas!
Hearing the dawn chorus and the birds singing during the day is just lovely Wreck. The daffs are up and nearly out , nearly Spring .

Biddy, nothing Christmassy going on here either, just sorting out the old folks and have 4 birthdays and Valentines day and Shrove Tuesday to sort out ....... phew I am getting stressed just thinking about it lol!

Yes yes I will be 26 on the 23rd!
We were supposed to be going to Italy to celebrate, but what with moving costing a bomb and DP being out of work in October/November we are skintsville atm so we are just going to delay it for a few months and probably go in April.

It'll be a touch warmer then though, Hairspray, so you might enjoy it more!

Ahh Hairspray the weather will be better in April my dear , hope your new job is brilliant too. These setbacks are mere spanners in the works you will get through it and be fine , I think it is part of the rites of marriage lol!

We bought it years ago in a little Yankee candle stockist in the Metro Center! It was £10 for the shade and plate! 🎄👍🏻
