all these plans for this Christmas (doesn't this Christmas sound better than Next Christmas ? )

DD and I are planning a trip to London, might see what tail end of bargains there are out there. Last year I bought some decorations from Accessorize about 75% off. Used them on the tree , really pretty.

Love the nails Addict , I'm I cannot wear polish (or any blasted product , work Infection Control prohibits it)

I am going to afternoon tea there for my birthday in April such a treat!
Loving the nails and the rings think I was a Magpie in a previous life Ceebs how can you keep them so well , it is prob because they have done a proper job on them in the Manor lol not like my hurried diy paint job you lucky thing too!
Fridge ! You thrice lucky thing staying at the Celtic Manor .....several times..... l wish truth is it is too near me to warrant staying there really. I also would love to stay in the Bear Crickhowell and the Angel Abergavenny , they are all so gorgeous but within a stones throw of where I live lol! Perhaps we ought to share the great places to stay where we live for recommendations for us here lol.IYSWIM I am not sure I understand my ramblings myself lol.
Sob.... I am going to miss these Christmas emojisthe dreaded day has come ...tree and decs down today as 12th night has passed.... I calculate it will be just over 10 months before we put it back up again, early again this year because of DD1 in Uni and not home til nearly Christmas so we put it up 16th Nov when she was home because she /we always decorate the tree together , it is just our tradition and will have to do it again this year . I loved doing it early though . I wonder what excuse I can make to hubbs next year to do the same because I won't have an excuse DD1 will be finished Uni then ..... lol mwahahaha

I will have a keyboard to do a proper post Christmas report on Monday, for myself as much as you guys. But here is a photo to me next Christmas of my centrepiece for the table - even if I only managed to make it on choking Day and not in time for Christmas dinner. Oops😂

New bridge on usk was lovely, really good food.

We've just been to M&S and bought a tonne of wrapping paper. Plus cards as well as the kids give them out to everyone at school, it appears, so we will need 58 just for that in December as they'll both be in school then!

The wrapping paper had been reduced again to get rid of it, so we won't be buying any for YEARS now!

My superdrug order arrived today. Some lovely bits in it!

I didn't get any wrapping paper in the sales annoyingly. Did get nice cards though.

I've just popped into The Range for a mooch and picked up some cushions reduced to £1.71 each. I've got a red sofa so these will match beautifully.

DH did the face when I showed him. I gently reminded him that he's the one who bought an 8' tree yesterday because it was half price and would be perfect for the hallway of our as yet to be moved to new house. I think 30 years of living with me has turned him into a Christmas prepper at last.

We are watching a Denzel Washington film called Flight. Pretty tense plane crash build up / scene at the beginning!

I love having decs up, but also like taking them down to get the space back. I do miss the extra light from the lights we put round the lounge window though!

Yes thank you Fluffy I think it needs brightening up , I love the tree light in the middle I had it from Ikea 2 years ago and I just love it. I need a new light/lights there for definite . I am on the case !

There were some lovely floor lamps in The Range. Sort of structural and decorative and there were also some twig lights which would be a compromise on fairy lights.

Biddy I forgot to say I love your table wreath ,well done it is gorgeous.

We've kept our asda cushions out, DH decided they were scandi enough to keep out. I'm not sure, but they give me a year round bit of christmas!

Fridge my DH just said the same to me but I am going to keep them putaway because I love them so much I don't want them to wear out lol how sad is that !!!! I have some new zebra ones I can try but they are bright yellow. I will give them a go and put a pic up .

I put out LED candles in glass vases for NYE and they've stated around.

DD and I pootled off to Bluewater today, some Christmas sales tat (which she wouldn't let me look at the swine )

But they still had loads of decorations up , is 12th Night tonight? They need to get their collective skates on !
