So, when are you doing your main Christmas food shop?

Just that really, which day are you going to brave it on?

I went to Aldi at 8:30pm this evening - it wasn’t busy at all. Got everything on my list and was home again an hour later

Did Morrisons at 4.30 this afternoon and it was half empty, which was lovely...and lucky for me, as the young lad on the till said it had been hell with the lid off up till about 3pm!!

I was at Tesco at 7am this morning! Got everything on my list (and of course a shed load that wasn’t ) and I’m happy now with a full fridge & freezer (DH went out after lunch and got the booze!) They has everything piled high and hardly any other —lunatics— customers at that time, it was a pleasure to walk around!

I went and collected my food that was preordered from Morrisons at 3pm today. It wasn't too busy at all

I collected my turkey and other bits from M&S at 7am this morning and was out at 7.15. Tesco delivery at 11 this morning - two substitutions but perfectly acceptable ones, so I'm sorted.

We got last minute perishables Friday but the rest was all done and in the freezer ready.

Have to confess to not doing Xmas dinner - we do buffet Xmas day and dinner Boxing Day when things are less chaotic. Have done for and it really works for us - no stress at all.

No way I'm going in a food shop until next weekend
