I bought a fake one this year that's pre-lit. I'm not fussed about a real tree. Thought I was until I got one, then decided it wasn't worth the extra money! We grew up with a really feeble fake tree, so a nice bushy one does me!

Need to talk to Wilf today about collecting things for the food bank, they are doing it at school, but we are going to try and collect 25 things and take them to the food bank by mid-December. Next year we will do an item a day into the box through November I think.

Feelings very fat at the moment, but anyway, eBay cheap Christmas leggings haven arrived! They’ll look ok with a long chunky jumper and boots I think :)

Oooh I bought some festive leggings from Primark (really soft ) to wear with my Last Years Christmas Jumper.

In our house we don't start Christmas 'Proppah' until after DS birthday . We do the Advent Tree/ Calender /Candle/ Hamper but no decorations till after him.

Had loads of parcels delivered today the bath bomb sets are amazing !
I am afraid I have succumbed to the Waitrose mince pies and the Aldi mince pie challenge to see which were best. TBH you can't beat home made ones but .......I know I will eat the lot of them asap , prob before they are cool enough to eat and burn my mouth ! Anyways imho the Aldis just pipped Waitrose to the post , they were only 79p for 6 and tasted very similar to the Waitrose ones but the WR ones had seeds in and I don't like them boo hoo lol. I am such a lightweight, I kept within my calorie allowance of 1500 a day so didn't do too bad , I say trying to convince myself lol

Sprout I did my dd1 wrapping today and that was more than enough for today . I am so traumatised I have abandoned all plans for the early tree this week !

I have had once mince pie so far, and it was home made by my grandmother at a family gathering last weekend, and it was the only treat I had! I am 8lbs off my final goal weight having been on a diet for 14 months and losing 5st... I can feel myself getting boring about it but I am so close!
