For anyone who might be interested in international delivery, I have just discovered that Debenhams deliver to Spain (and so I guess Europe) for free on orders over £50.

Has anyone received the knex blaster yet? Mine hasn't been dispatched yet. They say they'll email me when it's available but it's showing as in stock when you look. Hope they're not going to cancel it!

JDSTER · 17/09/2017 20:09

Dd's have asked for some posters for their rooms nothing in particular just something to decorate their rooms. Being an 80's/90's child I would have hot footed it to Athena but where does the generation go??

Avoca76 · 17/09/2017 20:25

Did I see something about mud kitchens on here ages ago? My boys would love one for the garden but they are so expensive!

WreckTangled · 17/09/2017 20:30

@Avoca76 I think the mud kitchens were from studio?

SpiritedLondon · 17/09/2017 20:31

scrappy check out Society6 for cool very reasonably priced artwork. I've ordered 2 prints which came on nice quality paper. They come from USA though and take about 2 weeks. Check your sizes though, one of mine is a weird size and I can't find a frame so having to get a custom one done. It's also worth checking Ali Express because I stumbled across a Fight Club print I had pinned from Society 6 but it was much cheaper. £1 or £2.

yellowsun · 17/09/2017 20:33

LetThereBe fingers crossed I get it then!

SpiritedLondon · 17/09/2017 20:35

Ps. Did you know Ali Express has a feature that allows you to upload a photo and will search for items that are similar. It works fine on photos of items in magazines too.

banoffee does he have a tablet? My DS was 4.5 last Christmas & we got him a kindle fire. He didn't play with it loads at first but he def does not & has helped with letter formation etc for school as we put an app on for that..

avoca the mud kitchen was from Studio- it was £59.99 but there was a code for £10 off- can't remember code though sorry. I want to get it for DD but need to convince DH still...

LostMyRubySlippers · 17/09/2017 20:38

Does now!!!!! Not does not Confused

Avoca76 · 17/09/2017 21:01

Just found the mud kitchen, thanks!

That's a really good price.

imsorryiasked · 17/09/2017 21:04

For those looking for posters on AliExpress etc - just make sure that it states the poster will be sent rolled - I've heard several horror stories of beautiful posters arriving folded up in a jiffy bag!
I've used allposters.co.uk a few times and found them to have a good choice / prices.

Jfw82 · 17/09/2017 21:08

For posters also worth looking st London transport museum website as they have loads of travel posters current and vintage which are fab

Chocolateteabag · 17/09/2017 21:11

Has anyone got a copy of the "My Golden Ticket" Wonderbly book yet?

I'm putting an order in for a nearly 5 year old boy and soon to be 7 year old boy but wondering if it will also be good for a nearly 9 year old boy? Or is that getting to be too "old"?
They've set the age range as 5-12 but would appreciate any input if anyone already has theirs?

ChristmasSeacow · 17/09/2017 21:23

LegoPiece I happen to get an Aspinal code through the post today and it looks multi-use. For 15% off quote the offer code 'THEATRE'

Valid until 2nd October

SimplyNigella · 17/09/2017 21:25

Avoca make sure you Google for a discount code before ordering, there's usually a £10 off first purchase code around which makes it even more of a bargain.

TeaPleaseTa · 17/09/2017 21:26

My friend was thrilled that quite a few Mumsnetters visited her Etsy shop after I mentioned it on the last thread so here is the link again. She has some nice tree decorations. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/HappyBeadsUK?section_id=20039221

Threeandabit · 17/09/2017 21:44

IceCreamIceCream - Wilkos do some lovely wooden, non-character based toys, which are perfect for a 3.5 year old. They are quite reasonably priced too.

Pumpkintopf · 17/09/2017 21:45

Tentative I know what you mean- they aren't itchy woolly iyswim, although warm and snuggly they have quite a smooth finish.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 17/09/2017 21:46
