Not technically a bargain, but if anyone has a (military) plane-mad relative, you can pay for their name to be added to the underside of the Vulcan's wing. You'll get a certificate to commemorate it.

I've ordered it for DH as he bloody loves planes, especially the Vulcan.

£30.00 to get name under Vulcan's wing

Threeandabit · 17/09/2017 21:50

I have had some nice non-character stuff from TK Maxx too, but obviously their stock is never the same twice!

I have ordered some stuff on Amazon as well. The brand is Viga, but I can't actually recommend it yet as I am still waiting on delivery. .

SimplyNigella · 17/09/2017 21:56

Three DS has quite a few Viga toys including a dolls house and a medical set which are all fab.

Wayfarersonbaby · 17/09/2017 21:58

Oh no, just ordered some Sylvanians things from the Asda toy sale and got an email within ten minutes refunding me as they had gone out of stock! You must all be on there buying up stuff Grin

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 17/09/2017 21:59

Thanks @LostMyRubySlippers my parents bought him one last year which he loves - and I agree about the phonics apps!

StrawberryStar · 17/09/2017 22:02

@BanoffeePieIsMyFave have you seen the fire bike in Halfords? We got it for our fireman sam obsessed DS last year and he loves it

Threeandabit · 17/09/2017 22:07

SimplyNigella, that's good to know. One of the things I have got for ds is a Viga wooden cake as he loves to play "birthdays". Smile

Theromanempire · 17/09/2017 22:09

@chocolateteabag my DS will be 9 soon and that is the book I want to get for him (with the discount Wink). He still loves his 'the boy who lost his name' one so I figure he will adore the willy Wonka one. However, he is very immature so maybe not the best example Grin

PinkPanther27 · 17/09/2017 22:17

Hello all, I've managed to get most of my Christmas presents sorted months in advance 😀 Thanks for the Lisa Angel mention whoever it was, got loads of nice little bits.
Someone mentioned Wish on this thread, just had a look on there and there are some amazing bargains on Boden girls dresses but - are they really bargains? Is it all legit?
Are the dresses Boden quality or cheap knock offs?
As stuff appears to be from China, is it flame retardant?
Anyone had any experience with them please? 🙂

ChoccyJules · 17/09/2017 22:19

Also wondering about Wish, never heard of it until this thread.

mayathebee · 17/09/2017 22:21

Thanks for all the info on the Harry Potter lego - I'm surprised they've discontinued it with HP still being so popular. I think I'll keep an eye on ebay for a really small set but just go for a big box of bricks instead so she build whatever she wants.

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 17/09/2017 22:29

@chocolateteabag sorry to jump on the band wagon, but if you do get a discount code for wonderbly, I would love one please.
I know someone posted a generic one, but I am only buying one book!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 17/09/2017 22:30

duchess thank you! I'm in N London so can easily get there, thank you!

And it's enough time that if they're not doing the offer I can use the one from christmas

I'm so excited to get my dad something now Grin

Thank you x

RockySpeed · 17/09/2017 22:38

@SheStoodInTheStorm
@TalkingOrmer
@Theromanempire

Here is a referral for 15% Wonderbly discount

The cards with the codes on are downstairs, I'm more than happy to let you know those in the morning (if you'd prefer, rather than using a referral link) but I'm afraid I've just watched 'It' at the cinema so there's NO WAY I'm getting out of bed in the dark! Confused

Badders08 · 17/09/2017 22:40

I feel I can post this as it was a bargain...
Booked a game of thrones tour in northern Ireland for ds1 and me for next year 😁🐺🔥❄🗡🛡🏹
£62 instead of £90
VERY excited!!
Squeeeeeeee

RockySpeed · 17/09/2017 22:49

15% Wonderbly discount for those asking

PLEASE let me know if the link doesn't work as I've got a few cards with other codes on downstairs that I can dig out

@NeitherNowtNorSummat01

@Theromanempire I think the Charlie and the CF book would be suitable for a 9 year old. It would be an easy read but it's still got plenty to interest an older child. There's maps and letters and different things, not just all story. I'm happy to take some pictures of the inside if anyone would find it helpful. Just let me know

RockySpeed · 17/09/2017 22:50

Argh link fail! Sorry!

15% Wonderbly discount

woodwaj · 17/09/2017 22:53

ginyummy I think it was you that asked for pj mask clothes. I just came across some socks in next. I'm not sure if they have other stuff so might be worth a nosey!

Cupoteap · 17/09/2017 23:08

Wish is basically all the cheap Chinese stuff on eBay but in one obvious place.

I've had a couple of things from there but have only spent a could of quid. No probs so far.

TalkingOrmer · 17/09/2017 23:19

Rocky thank you very much, just used your link. Just so you know - your full name is on the link.

PS how did you watch IT???!!!!! I'm way too cowardly.

PopTheDragon · 17/09/2017 23:21

DD has asked for a bath bomb maker this year but there seems to be quite a few to choose from, has anyone used them or bought any? There doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews on any of them

Cupoteap · 17/09/2017 23:35

Pop I saw this on yesterday at smyths and have it on the maybe list

buckeejit · 18/09/2017 00:19

Ah badders, I could've taken you on the GoT tour of NI for just petrol money-I've got it down to a fine art now!

Bought ds the minecraft Lego set he wanted off eBay-discontinued naturally & gagging for dc to go away so dh can bring out everything I've bought in the last year to get on my excel spreadsheet!

Toriah-I've bought the giftplan app for general presents but not too au fait with it yet.

Last day of M&S 20% off voucher tomorrow so demanding dh takes me though I'm not sure I'll be able to make it round the shop-if it's too much I'll fall into the cafe!

Tickyboovicki · 18/09/2017 06:02

I'm sure it's been asked but does anyone have a m&s voucher? I have a basketful of things that I am reluctant to check out with yet!

RockySpeed · 18/09/2017 06:34

@TalkingOrmer glad the link was useful.

It was totally terrifying, I watched a majority of the film through the holes in the knit of my cardigan!
