Ann your crafty decorations sound so lovely, I'm hoping to make some decorations this year as we can't really afford to buy new ones and I'd like to start a new tradition with DS.
Finally my festive enthusiasm has leeched into DH!! I suspect it's a symptom of the rubbish summer we've had as it's felt very autumnal here for a while but he's instigated a lot of conversation about Christmas this weekend and has even gone as far as planning the whole of December in advance to make sure we can celebrate for as long as possible. And he chose to watch Elf on Saturday evening I knew it'd get him in the end...

It's Christmas Cake Baking Day here, but a few errands to run first, and a dog walk. I also bought DS2 (my teen) a Christmas bed set, before they shoot up in price, and that should arrive today 😍

I discovered yesterday that my trip to Harrogate will take in the Christmas market. Has anyone been before? Will it be full of stalls selling mulled wine? Not that that's a hardship

I have done hampers the last two years but thinking of doing a DIY wreath instead this year....
