My 6 year old wants a hatchimal. They are only be released so theres no reviews but the ads are on tv 10 times an hour. Are they going to be a big thing this year? I cam discern much from the little there us online. Are they just a big tomigotchi (sp?).

Interested to hear is anyone else considering them. It would be the big pressie this year as they are getting a trampoline berween thwm

Must of al gone since, one of my friends got one though the whole check out process. However lots of posts went up on fb about them having them in stock.

I managed to buy one a few weeks ago just to see what the craze is all about. DS5 wasn't the least bit interested and DD2 lost interest in it rather quickly.

It would suit a very patient child.
