Funny how people have different ideas about what makes Christmas. Different priorities and all that. If it's all about the presents I think it makes for rather an empty Christmas.

I don't think anyone's said it's all about the presents. People who buy lots of presents probably value time with their family, a nice meal, Christmas music, etc. just as much as those who buy fewer presents.

I honestly could not have imagined such a thing. I obviously missed something major yesterday.

I'm also staggered that people have done all their Christmas shopping already.

No she doesn't venture far from Facebook, snapchat or facetime.

Christmas is not empty at all far from it we catch up and spend time with family we only see a chritmas, enjoy good food, lots of quality chilled out time as a family having fun with their new presents, same as when I was a child.

I wouldn't worry Kitten, I think most people have lots going at christmas as in many parts of the Christmas pie with love and what family you have coming tops.

Presents however, are a part of the christmas experience and this thread is specifically devoted to that at the moment but I am sure just because people talk and joke indeed about presents on this thread...in the christmas topic - that does not mean we are all materialistic and soley focused on the gifts.
