Sorry, can't resist a bit of McCartney Christmas magic (that sounds a bit naughty Blush not meant to I assure you). Might balance it out with some good old Sir John of Lennon next time. Oh, just the thought of getting my Christmas CDs out of the loft is getting me excited (again, no naughty double meaning) Grin

I think your right Bloodsocks! Will do that, just had a look through all of camel's listings on pushchairs and there is nothing as good under £30 so will just get from Argos.

Of course that does mean that there will be a fantastic bargain on pushchairs on Amazon next week Wink. Sods law.

RedKites · 25/09/2013 11:01

oreo you could buy all three today at Argos for £50, or you can get the tiny tears from amazon, and then if you did end up paying full price for the pushchair, that'll be £43.33 - but you won't have the Rapunzel, although you might end up paying less if it's in a 25% off or something. So there's not much in it - it maybe depends how much you like the Rapunzel doll?

Oreocrumbs · 25/09/2013 11:01

you're - FFS told you I can't think straight!

IcedCoffeeQueen · 25/09/2013 11:03

sadly Jojomamanbebe are not accepting codes on micro scooters any more it seems :( just so it can maybe be removed from the op of next thread

Oreocrumbs · 25/09/2013 11:03

I do like Rapunzel! I will probably put her away for easter or something though, because DD has a lot of stuff for Christmas now.

I wouldn't have been bothered about her, but now I have her in mind I want it! (These toys ARE for my DD, I promise).

Ffuntimewincies · 25/09/2013 11:13

Octonauts Octolab £26.99 at Amazon

Ffuntimewincies · 25/09/2013 11:14

£26.66 not £26.99 I mean.

BlackStiltonBoots · 25/09/2013 11:24

Argh, amazon have the bloody diary for £27.99 now! Hope I can cancel my debenhams order!

everydayaschoolday · 25/09/2013 11:27

for Spottyteacakes who posted last night. Barbie stuff at a good price in Home Bargains. I've ordered from them lots of times and they're very quick and well packaged. Good service.

www.homebargains.co.uk/search.aspx?searchterms=barbie

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend · 25/09/2013 11:31

Thanks Oreo, I've just ordered Rapunzel doll from amazon now. Was going to order that and the doc mcstuffins doctors bag from argos and have been looking for something extra for the 3 for 2 but they've both been reduced to £13.33 on amazon now so I'm happy.

BlackStiltonBoots · 25/09/2013 11:36

Debenhams won't let me cancel as it was slightly more than 30 mins since I placed the order wouldn't have been if they hadn't kept me on hold for so long so not sure what to do now. From Grin to Sad in half an hour!

CatAmongThePigeons · 25/09/2013 11:38

Black, under the DSR you have a right to cancel within 7days of your order IIRC.

Passthecake30 · 25/09/2013 11:42

Ladies....been having a read of this thread, thanks for the heads up on t
Amazon reducing prices down because of Argos....just bought barbie rapunzel. (1/3 off), Lego garbage truck, la la loopsy (£15 off!) and some other bits and bobs...

Dd is 4 at the beginning of nov so she can have the rapunzel then and I'm still looking for her main present - she asked for the barbie (bloomin adverts) but generally only does craft or role play with her brother, so I'm a but stuck.

Ds wants "my very own IPad" for Xmas. I might eat the tesco tablet when it is out....unless anyone has any recommendations?

caffeinated · 25/09/2013 11:44

Innotab 3 is bargain price on amazon. Cheaper than innotab 2.

Passthecake30 · 25/09/2013 11:45

Lol I won't eat the tablet! I will have a look at the tablet.... Stupid autocorrect

Passthecake30 · 25/09/2013 11:46

My kids (3&5) have the innotab 2 but hardly touch it. iPad is soooo much better to them. Grrrrr

iloveholidays · 25/09/2013 12:27

Oh no, I'm spending too much on amazon!!!!!!!

ValiumQueen · 25/09/2013 12:34

I agree once a child, indeed anyone, has played with an iPad then nothing else will do. You can buy reconditioned ones from Apple apparently.

IcedCoffeeQueen · 25/09/2013 12:40

Does anyone know what the budget tablets are like eg acer, prestigio etc? ds is almost 8 and hard to buy for has ADHD amongst other things doesn't really play with many toys, doesn't like lego etc too fiddly for him, cant play most games consoles although likes his DS. He always goes for the ipads etc on display when we visit stores so contemplating getting a tablet for his main present but he has the tendency to break things so don't want to spend too much really. Also what can be done with a tablet that a child would enjoy is there a lot of games etc? (I don't have a tablet so bit of a novice)

Passthecake30 · 25/09/2013 12:43

www.tesco.com/direct/nabi-tablet/

There's this one that has a bit of protection if dropped....and has a child and parent mode.

There are tons of games out there for tablet - I am tight and only load the free ones, but think my IPad is sporting around 30 at the moment...

Passthecake30 · 25/09/2013 12:43

www.tesco.com/direct/nabi-tablet/

CatAmongThePigeons · 25/09/2013 12:48

DS1 had a very cheap Tablet which was good for gaming and watching catch up tv on, he dropped it once too often (after taking off the protective case) and the screen is a bit damaged, I would go for a low end one, even if just to test the waters

BitchyRestingFace · 25/09/2013 12:49

WallaceWindsock don't know how much you want to spend but Myakka have a beautiful range of furniture themed around elephants, I have the Hathi lowboy (just seen it's half-price now, grrrr!) as a TV stand.

Hathi stuff here

Also wooden elephants and some rather nice bookends:

Here

Indian wall-hangings

Here

Lovely little elephant table here

Here

And probably a few more things across the site that I've missed, they do a lot of elephants Grin

walktheplank · 25/09/2013 12:49

WallaceWindsock, is there an Evolution near you? They often have lots of elephant-themed things. I bought my niece a little windchime from there and it was lovely - I realise that might not be quite what you're after but they do have similar things so might be worth checking out. I've also seen some stuff on etsy.com though you may have seen it already because it's been mentioned on here before! Just search for elephant and loads of stuff pops up.
