Sorry, can't resist a bit of McCartney Christmas magic (that sounds a bit naughty Blush not meant to I assure you). Might balance it out with some good old Sir John of Lennon next time. Oh, just the thought of getting my Christmas CDs out of the loft is getting me excited (again, no naughty double meaning) Grin

JustasmallGless · 25/09/2013 07:04

Marking place and off to search the Argos website

I too want Disney infinity

2anddone · 25/09/2013 07:11

Just been on Argos site 3 for 2 is definitely on all toys til 1st Oct, however they are classing Disney infinity characters as gaming so not in the offer Sad.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 25/09/2013 07:12

Am I right in thinking 3 for 2 at Argos returned in mid November last year? My dc don't seem to know what they want yet and I don't want to get it wrong! Glad it is on though!

supermariossister · 25/09/2013 07:27

sorry can't remember who asked but yes you will be able to use the skylanders giants characters on the new swap force game/portal.

Oh dear I think I'm regretting buying the toys r us dolls house now and want to get her a lego house instead. Reasons are space in the house and fact I don't want to build it!!!! Also someone says hinges sensitive and my kids are quite rough with their toys. Should I bring it back???

BuntyCollocks · 25/09/2013 07:44

Groupon have what looks like a good, sturdy toy kitchen or workbench for £25 here

PopGoesTheWeeble · 25/09/2013 07:52

BeaWheest where have you got your double sided car mat from? I am after a good one if anyone has seen any bargainous ones! Also looking out for innotab bargains as mean Ocado don't deliver to me Sad

Brockle · 25/09/2013 07:53

I love you all, I really do! (my DH will go mad when he sees what the boys have for Christmas!)

RhondaJean · 25/09/2013 07:54

The monster high tablet is in the 3 for 2. I can't figure how they class a "toy".

RhondaJean · 25/09/2013 08:00

A quick and slightly bizarre note - one or two of the items on my amazon wish list seem to have dropped by a third (monster high party room in particular now down from £45 to £30 overnight) so it might be worth having a look there to see what's happened to yours, don't know if it's in response to Argos or something else.

JustBecauseICan · 25/09/2013 08:24

Probably is Rhonda...I have just been faffing on Argos (after swearing never to use them again after they cancelled my order (but neglected to tell me) on the 23rd of December 2 yrs ago) But I can't for the life of me find a 3rd thing that makes the 3 x 2 worth it. I want a Tardis and a crystal making kit and ????? I keep looking at Sylvanians and Moshis and losing the will to live so will have a look later.

98percentchocolate · 25/09/2013 08:34

Thanks again Reastie! Finished dd now apart from her main present which I'm still deciding on. Just the adults to do now!
For anyone with somebody difficult to buy Zulily has great offers on very nice pens at the moment. DH is very fussy about pens so that is him sorted!

IsaacCox · 25/09/2013 08:55

I've had an email from Debenhams saying their half price sale and half price delivery starts online today and in store tomorrow for 5 days.

joymaker · 25/09/2013 08:56

Cheers Reastie Wine Haha! re your DP (they just don't seem to get it do they?) glad you like your books.

dandelionsRflowers · 25/09/2013 09:06

Is there such a thing as a quiet drum kit? Dd aged 4 is determined it's the only thing she wants so I can wake you up early in the morning when you're sleeping mummy and she is quite musical.

Last year it was a trumpet, year before a guitar so I know she won't change her mind.

I did think some sort of electronic one would be good as it will have an OFF switch.

TooWetToWoo · 25/09/2013 09:09

Just bought these pretend mini bricks for DS1 for £7.62

I remember playing with something similar in school when I was younger Smile

TooWetToWoo · 25/09/2013 09:11

Dandelions I saw a desktop one in Primark yesterday. Think it was £5. The box was fairly big too so don't think it'll be too small.

WallaceWindsock · 25/09/2013 09:28

I've quietly lurked and loved these threads, have snagged some bargains for DD, so pleased!

I picked up books in the Works at the weekend. They're doing buy one for £1.99 get another for 1penny on picture books, activity books and classics for older DCs. I got the Velveteen Rabbit, The Night Before Christmas plus a load of sticker books and a friend picked up Robinson Crusoe, Heidi etc for her 9yo.

I have a request if anyone can help? Well two actually! My DM is a huge fan of elephants and I usually try and get something on that theme. Struggling to find anything that isn't too tacky this year. We're talking nice fabric doorstop, cushions, large wooden ornament etc. anyone seen anything?
Also what on earth can we get DS? He's 6mo and has all his sisters old toys, clothes etc. Have no clue what to get him, even struggling on stocking fillers. Poor boyHmm

Thanks for these threads, they're fab Grin
