So the spreadsheets have been completed, the matches have gone out, all is done. Gin

We're all waiting with bated breath. If you're a recipient and you'd like to pop back on here when your gift arrives to thank your donor then do remember to look out for your MN code which will have been included in the address on the packaging and include it in your post. The person who sent the gift will then be able to know it's you.

If anyone has any questions about anything to do with the Mumsnet Christmas Appeal then do please email [email protected].

Ho Ho Ho!

Saintly - so glad you have got your parcel at last. Sounds like the PO staff will remember you from now on Grin.

It's lovely to think of the pressies under the tree. I hope they are all right for you all.

Recipient MN101 here :)

I have just received a lovely parcel adressed to the mumsnetter of the house :) I had to go to the post office to pick it up. They didn't bat an eyelid :)

Thankyou so much to whoever is my secret Santa. I was so surprised to be nominated, this is such a lovely thing to do.

I haven't got my tree up yet but when I do the presents from you will have pride of place. You are very kind and thoughtful x .

Oh good Biwi. I'm pleased that it arrived. It made me smile as 10 years ago I got married at the lovely registry office near you and then this year my brother did as well :)

Happy Christmas!

I am recipient MN053

I am sitting on my living room floor surrounded by piles of present. I hope it wasn't some oversight but I seem to have received 2 donations. I went to the post office & collected 2 large boxes.

In one is a selection of presents for the DDs & to share, as well a pile of bags of chocolate buttons.

In the other is another selection of presents for the girls, one for me & chocolates & crackers.

I am flabbergasted. I haven't been nearly good enough this year to deserve all this. I'm so grateful to my donors & nominator. I can't expressed how pleased this whole thing makes me & how much I love mumsnet. Don't worry though, I will figure something out & put it in a blog post Grin

And DH said this:
"I love Mumsnet" :)

Hi I'm MN168 and have picked up some lovely handmade soaps from my secret Santa today. Like many others posting here I've had a tough couple of weeks lately and have a chaotic couple coming up too. I'm looking forward to being able to escape to a hot bath soon with my new luxury soaps!!

At a time when I'm discovering how truly awful some people in this world can be it was lovely to receive such kindness from a stranger today.

Thank you!

StopEatingThatMud · 15/12/2012 21:22

I can't remember my number!

But to my sender, I've just seen your PM and the answer is yes! Thank you, thank you and thank you again Xmas Grin my phone is playing silly buggers so I've no idea if the 2 replies I tried to send ever got to you, but I hope so.

I hope you, and all the other fabulous senders have a magical Xmas and get everything you wish for and much much more!

SantasBitch · 15/12/2012 22:23

MN030 has yours arrived yet?

triplets · 15/12/2012 22:47

SS200 Oh what a lovely lovely surprise today when your parcel arrived. I hace cried buckets over a strangers generosity, vouchers, sweets x`s three, did you know I have triplets? Shortbread biscuits in a pretty tin..............I am overwhelmed esp today as I am very ill with the winter sickness bug, its ghastly. 24 hours of non stop sickness and every bone is aching. I tried to go downstairs tonight but only last and hour, I have never felt so ill.I just pray no one else comes down with it, esp my dh who has three abdominal hernias caused by his many cancer ops. So BABOOSHKA and family thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are amazing. xxx

SecretSantaMN202 · 15/12/2012 22:47

MN202 - sorry you've not received your parcel yet Xmas Sad. It was posted today so should be with you on Monday or Tuesday... I hope the pressies are suitable for your DDs.

CrackleMauve · 15/12/2012 22:49

MN145 I will be taking yours to the post office on Monday. Something for you and something for your granddaughter, hope you like them.

saintlyjimjams · 15/12/2012 23:31

MN164 I just spent my Amazon voucher. I am delighted with it and it's been spent on something that might lead to something lifechanging. . Feel free to PM me to learn more, or if you want to remain anonymous if the thing that might happen happens I'll make sure I start a thank you thread on here (although it might take a while....)

Anyway thank you vvvv much xx Xmas Smile

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 15/12/2012 23:33

jimjams I'm intrigued!

saintlyjimjams · 15/12/2012 23:39

[frgrin] - well if it ever happens I will probably drone on on here about it but it might take about 5 years..... :) Anyway am very delighted with my amazon purchase (and it was blardy expensive for a book so the sort of thing that I really would't usually be able to justify buying)

saintlyjimjams · 15/12/2012 23:59

well mumsnetters have a history of affecting my life in life-changing ways (see my profile) so you never know! Xmas Wink

Santa041 · 16/12/2012 00:38

Sigh....
So MN041 we have a problem...

I ordered your gift on line a couple of weeks ago anyway after chasing it I discover that somehow "the computer" merged my order with someone elses ... cue lots of "this has never happened before", "IT don't know how it happened" ... type discussions Xmas Confused

So I've ordered again - but this means you may get 0 presents, 1 present, 2 presents or possibly something completely random that some other poor soul has ordered while they get yours.... Xmas Blush

Bet this never happens to the real Santa Claus! However I'm hopefully Christmas magic will work and everything will be OK. But thought I'd better post just in case it doesn't and you are confused.

RichTeaAreCrap · 16/12/2012 00:48

KenDoddsDads it was you? Smile Thank you so much again, you are wonderful and I am amazed at your kindness Thanks

I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas.
