I've been asked by RebeccaMumsnet to start this thread. Smile

A big thanks to all at MNHQ for arranging this. You little stars!

When posting thanks, please give the Santa number that should be on your gift so that people can see that their gifts have arrived. Many thanks.

My Thanks :
A parcel from a very generous Santa has arrived: a wonderful Playmobil advent calendar to get our family in the mood for Christmas. I think I'm probably more excited about it than my boys Grin.
Thank you so much to the lovely person who nominated me - I am deeply, deeply touched by your kind thoughts.
And thank you so very much to my lovely Santa638. We will all enjoy your gift enormously: a perfect choice Smile. Wishing you and all your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, and a peaceful and loving 2012. Thanks

Trumpton, thanks so much for the tokens - we will be in search of something non-pink.
I haven't got the santa no, but what can I say - MN helped me through some very difficult times and still does Thanks trumpton and everyone else who posts/lurks
Xmas Smile to you all (getting a bit teary but I blame the ginger wine!)

JjandtheBean · 13/12/2011 20:59

rebecca I still don't know who's sent my dcs the great little trading company parcel, I've reported my posts to draw attention several times since thursday and nothing...

I can't email --as my phone hates me-- as I only mumsnet on my phone and my emails never send.

RebeccaIm30TomorrowMumsnet · 13/12/2011 22:55

We mailed you a few days ago Jj.

"It was Santa MNHQ"

Enjoy and a very Merry Christmas and a HUGE thanks to GLTC too.

Xmas Smile
SecretSanta9294 · 13/12/2011 22:59

JjandtheBean · 13/12/2011 23:03

Oh wow, thank you santa MNHQ I didn't mean that last message to sound so bossy Blush I blame the elephant stunning strength pain killers. I just wanted to make sure I thanked the correct person.

CazBX · 14/12/2011 10:55

oh wow 16078 just WOW!

I couldn't believe it when the postman delivered our THIRD mumsnetter parcel this morning! I cried, the generosity is staggering.

So thankyou 16078 for giving us such lovely things this christmas and for the lovely note as well! will look forward to opening the wrapped presents christmas day, and the bundle of clothes is just fab! I love it, some gorgeous stuff! and the vitamins are a great idea; I've had one niggly thing after another the last few weeks so hopefully they'll sort me out!

thankyou so much whoever nominated me, you and my gift senders have really added to the specialness of this christmas after how hard last year was.

right I have to be involved in this next year! how and when do you put your name down for gift buying?

Whatevertheweather · 14/12/2011 11:11

Oh I actually love this thread Smile All round good feeling. I loved choosing the gifts for my recipient (even more when I saw who it was Wink). Can we do it all over again in the summer Grin Secret Summer?

ilovesprouts · 14/12/2011 11:44

.

SparkleRainbow · 14/12/2011 12:32

Thank you Rebecca for pointing me here. I have indeed received my secret santa presents from my wonderful secret santa, I didn't realise there was this thread that I could acknowledge having received them. Xmas Blush

My number was 2827, and all the wonderful gifts you have sent has already made what was going to be a hard and rather poor christmas infinitely better. I am so so touched, and my dc are too, particularly my ds who is having a fairly bad time at the moment, he had a little cry at the kindness of anyone sending him and his sisters presents. Words can not express my gratitude.

All teary eyed and off to find a tissue/sleeve if non available. Xmas Smile

[fthanks]

SparkleRainbow · 14/12/2011 12:37

Of course you can't have festive flowers....!
I meant Thanks

SparklesSanta · 14/12/2011 12:43

YAY! I was very worried about my shoddy packaging. There should have been two parcels but one was only sent yesterday just in case the first didn't arrive.

Your poor DS - so sorry he is having a hard time. He sounds utterly lovely (as do you)

Thanks right back at you. Festive flowers would be great though!

SparkleRainbow · 14/12/2011 13:31

More parcels....bless you.

He is lovely, but then I am just a little bias. He is though... Xmas Wink He climbed into bed with his little sis at 6.00am this morning, as he heard her crying and he wanted to let me sleep as I had been up in the night with him.

Now I must go and find a new sleeve tissue.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 14/12/2011 13:47

Thank you to mumsnetter 1919 or it could be 9191 I really cant be sure and im posting this at my parents house so can't check...

Anyway..

Thank you so so so much for the gifts for my two children (RC car and duplo)
They are going to love them and it was much fun seeing the confusion on DH's face when I dove into a parcel addressed to Ms M House!

Oh and thank you aswell for including the batteries! Xmas Grin

beautifulgirls · 14/12/2011 13:50

Thank you so much to our Santa, Midnightexpress 11781 for the lovely books for the girls Grin. Our post office saw common sense and let us collect them last night and we opened the box this morning. They are so excited with them and were not that keen to put them down and head off to school! We have had a really stressful year with DD#3 being very ill and this has been a magic treat for us so thank you so so much. Thanks Thanks and Wine too!

HecateGoddessOfTwelfthNight · 14/12/2011 13:54

17023

A package arrived this morning. I have already received a really fab gift for me and the kids (like a kid I couldn't wait to open it Blush), so assumed it was an error and contacted mnhq to make arrangements to forward it on. Imagine my delight when they said that it was not an error!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 17023

I am totally chuffed to bits and overwhelmed.

I love you all loads.

Like, with wet kisses an' everything Grin

HecatesSanta17023 · 14/12/2011 14:03

Namechange test...

HecatesSanta17023 · 14/12/2011 14:08

Yay it worked!

Hecate - total pleasure! There should be two parcels, so one more to come Xmas Smile

Happy Christmas!

GentleOtter · 14/12/2011 14:33

I am having a job trying to write this as I cannot stop crying.

An enormous parcel arrived at the farm a little while ago (which has been travelling for ages as Parcelforce could not find us) and inside are beautifully wrapped presents for all of us. A box filled with love and kindness.

santa11280 - thank you so much. I cannot write down how thrilled and overwhelmed I feel right now at your generosity and love.

Our family wish to thank you so much xxx

JjandtheBean · 14/12/2011 14:38

Another thank you to addictedtocrunchies the cars dvd just arrived ds will be so pleased, he really will, as will my 'tom boy when it suits her' dd. They watched a few 'car toons' on disney channel at mils and me and dp had been saying we should get cars as we'd not seen it. We really are so grateful again.

Merry christmas and thank you xxx Thanks

233 the thing should have come today but the postman didnt bring it! He just bought the 'sorry you werent in card' and showed it to my OH who said 'yes its for my wife'.

I have requested a redelivery incase they get stroppy at the post office so it should come on Friday.

My postie knows us (we have yappy dogs) so I dont know why he just bring it Hmm

Never mind. It will get here eventually Xmas Smile

SecretSanta233 · 14/12/2011 16:21

Oh no! Never mind....you need to sign for it. Weird though brining a sorry you weren't in card instead of thing...... When someone was in. Makes me think they should have more staff if 'signed for' means too much time for postman so he'll just pop a card in a run. Angry

SecretSanta233 · 14/12/2011 16:23

Am now ringing post office to ask what's the point of paying an extra £5 delivery for next day before 1pm for this to happen!!
