NoHunIntended · 19/10/2011 22:54

Tabletop Set. Heart Love Wow!

WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 09:15

OMG they are both adorable!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaant!

WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 09:21

"Available in sizes 2T, 3T, 4, 6, 8" [hconfused]

DS is a hefty 4.6 yo. What do you reckon? What are the T's all about?

WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 13:08

You can only buy the tabletop items in sets of four!

Shock Shock Shock

That's er, probably going to be over £70 including postage, maybe more.

NoHunIntended · 20/10/2011 13:41

I don't know what the Ts mean. I did find this guide, but it doesn't really explain it! none-the-wiser .

I know re the tabletop set. If you haven't got four children, maybe double up with someone so between you you have four children and can split the items up! Still overpriced, I know!

another guide to the 2T/3T thing

WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 13:53

Thank you, NHI. I was becoming quite hysterical.

I only have two DC and the elder has Shock stopped believing but is very imaginative so will be a great help regarding Mr Elf.

DS is four so many years ahead for Santa so if I divide the cost over five years...

winefairy · 20/10/2011 13:54

Ohhh, good find, NoHun. Imagine Elf on the Shelf leaving Elf on the Shelf Christmas hamper PJ's. It may just have to be done, I'm afraid!

NoHunIntended · 20/10/2011 14:30

[hsmile][hsmile] AreComing! Stopped believing? Oh nooooooo!

You are right re the divide the cost thing! :) It is the MN way!

winefairy, quite! And leaving snacks for Santa out in the ElfOnTheShelf beaker and plate!

WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 15:00

Oh dear... I am very tempted. It's my 40th in December so I might be able to justify it (to myself) as part of my birthday present. I need them, you see, as does Santa!

NoHunIntended · 20/10/2011 15:07

Yes, yes you do! I was not thinking clearly ('twas the excitement!) when I said they were for the children! I think I need that tabletop set for myself too!

OP posts:
winefairy · 20/10/2011 15:13

Eek! Shipping brings one measly little pair of PJ's up to £48!

....and for that reason, I'm out.

NoHunIntended · 20/10/2011 15:56

Ouch! That is crazy! Unless you buy for the next few years too, and store them!

OP posts:
WitchesAreComing · 20/10/2011 19:34

I'm out too with those shipping costs but I can dream / drool. Great spot, NHI Smile

My Elf arrived today while I was out so he is at the Post Office awaiting collection

NoHunIntended · 21/10/2011 15:52

I know. I won't order them this year, will see if they are in the sale after Christmas for another Christmas, else, wait til we have more disposable income. DS is only going to be 14 months this Christmas, I think I can wait. Can't believe the shipping costs! Terrible.

Have you got your Elf yet, WAC?

OP posts:
WitchesAreComing · 21/10/2011 19:13

Collected him today, NoHunIntended. He is very handsome. Now for a name...

NoHunIntended · 21/10/2011 20:09

Ooh, lovely! Enjoy your new elf! Any name ideas?

I have found my dream elf, but for £185, yes, you read that right, £185!!!!!, I think I shall have to go without. Anyway, they have sold out. SOLD OUT! So some people spend that much on a doll!!!
You can dress him up in various outfits, lots of different poses, but still. Pricey Elf. He looks so much like my little boy too, same eyes, face shape, cheeky expression. Oh well. .

OP posts:
WitchesAreComing · 21/10/2011 20:59

He's gorgeous! As is your DS (just had a peek)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Smile

NoHunIntended · 21/10/2011 21:07

Isn't he! Would make a lovely Elf On The Shelf! I've just done a bit more research, and there is a forum of these doll-fans who make clothes for their dolls, and take lots of photos of said dolls in all sorts of poses and backgrounds.

Aah thank you re my DS! :)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow's Lottery!

OP posts:
BlathersFright · 21/10/2011 21:45

I love the idea but I think for £25 I'll have to stick to telling DS that the alarm sensors are "Santa's cameras"

When the light comes on, he's watching :)

WitchesAreComing · 21/10/2011 21:54

The book is very American. Hope it doesn't confuse DS who is autistic and has quite restricted thinking. For example, "holidays" mean summer holidays and summer holidays only in his mind. Might have to do a bit of selective paraphrasing. And the size of the bathroom! (DD and I were having a sneak preview [hblush])

Nice idea, Blathers [hwink]

WitchesAreComing · 21/10/2011 23:34

First picture on profile. EotS is going to go mad in Pottery Barn on behalf of MNers if his numbers come up.

I'm a bit concerned though. He seems to have that white-eye thing Shock

Sillyoldelf · 21/10/2011 23:48

I love this idea ! Am going to go and search for my elf ...
