EARLY LABOUR ADVICE TO KEEP THINGS GOING PLS

Pg with my 2nd and I've had a 2nd sweep and i'm 2 to 3 cm dialated, as soon as had second sweep i had contractions every 5 mins got really painful especially down below where i had the familiar pulling and stretching feeling. They died down a bit but still had tightenings. Now they've picked up again but not getting the pulling feeling. Just back and cramp and bloody tight.

Can someone give me tips to keep things going? I was walking around garden which brought back pains and now on birthing ball.

No news. Contractions are irreg. Considering castor oil tomorrow. Tonight i'm just chilling. I just don't see anything happening. You guys may be stuck with me for couple more days yet x

Don't do the castor oil thing missy, it's nasty and doesn't always work. A good curry with plenty of cumin in would be better.

I'm 38weeks but by my dates 39 plus 2. I measured bigger at scan too but by my hospital rules the baby has to measure ten days bigger to change date. Its due to having so many contractions reg and irreg, baby engaged and being so low, spd, depression seeping in that I've had sweeps. I'm dreading mon. I know i'm going to ball my eyes out but i just hope they take me seriously

Missy keep your chin up sweetie, I know it's tough and at this point you just want baby in your arms and everything to stop messing you around. Try to remember that all that is happening is for a reson, it is all doing something. It will happen soon, klaw would say, you will have your baby maybe today, tommorow or in a few days but it will happen. Think I may steal that saying from her, I love it, she used it in my labour thread a few months ago and do you know she was right.

I work at airport but not now obviously. I only did couple of hours though. Will prob have change after mat leave though. I'd like to get a good career behind me whilst i still can.
