14 days late after 3 day induction! Hmm

s88 · 23/07/2014 06:52

14 with dd and 12 with ds (ds was induced!)

Officially one day over with DS1. Although I went into labour on my due date. But the scan had to be out at least by two days (because conception was a teeny accident so I knew it couldn't be the day the scan said) so I would say he was technically one day early.

DS2 was two days early.

0 - dc was born right on time!

40+12 with DS. Went in one evening for induction the following day, but must have been nervous enough to kick start labour that night so induction unnecessary (yay! I was shitting myself!).

12hour labour, DS back-to-back, hauled out by forceps and 9 medics who were prepated for emcs, shocking damage to my unmentionables. DS 10lb 2, with shoulder distocia (now healed).

Good job he's a beautiful, tornado, cutie pie, or I'd be seriously cheesed off Grin

I never have gone over with 4 babies. First two went into labour on due dates and second two were three and six days early.

I'm pregnant with number 5 and can't see me managing not to go over again.

KatharineClover · 24/07/2014 19:07

-2 with DS1

kamikami · 24/07/2014 20:32

Went into labour at 40 + 13, gave birth to ds at 40 + 15. I'd always imagined my due date was the 42 week date which helped !e get through to the end.

9 days late twice! Luckily second time I sort of set myself up to expect it. Six years apart! First started at +7 but took a couple of days to appear. Second started at 2pm and she was here 8 hours later with minimal fuss!

Only down side is that I missed a homebirth as both times being overdue meant meconium in waters. Hey ho.

13 days late with DS, he arrived in < 1 hour with only 1 push, weighing 9lb 6oz the day before his scheduled induction [grin}

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 24/07/2014 21:11

Ten days early with ds1, 7 early with ds2, 10 early with ds3.
