A bit of both, booked in to be induced but waters went that morning.

No contractions though so ended up with syntocin drip.

Are you overdue yet moomin?

SometimesIJustWantTo · 09/06/2014 18:15

Date for induction is on Thursday night/Friday morning depending on when I can be fitted in Confused. I've been in 'latent labour' since last wed night apparently. Two sweeps done with another booked for tomorrow. I have lost my plug twice in the past ten days Hmm (apparently they can reform if nothing happens...who knew) and had a couple of shows, just no baby!how about you moomin35?any signs?

mychildrenarebarmy · 09/06/2014 18:23

With DS I was 23 days overdue. I think this must have gone un-noticed by the hospital because it wasn't commented on until after he was born (natural, home birth). He was in a bit of a rush to get out. I woke up, started having pains and 2 1/2 hours later was sat on the sofa feeding him.

moomin35 · 09/06/2014 18:24

yep :-( 9 days over, 41+2.....it sucks!

bronya · 09/06/2014 18:27

12 days for me (natural onset that then needed drip etc). DS was small even then, so I guess he wanted the extra time to grow! This one is measuring slightly small too, so I'm expecting similar!!!

PicandMinx · 09/06/2014 18:34

-14 - nightmare induction
+14 - homebirth
+11 - homebirth
+14 - homebirth

evertonmint · 09/06/2014 18:35

Ah moomin, it really sucks. I don't think anybody who hasn't gone past a week over really knows what it's like in those outer reaches of overdue! Time slows right down, doesn't it? FWIW, my induction went well and I wasn't even vaguely ready to go when they examined me. Second lot of gel got things moving and then it was 7 hours, totally unassisted from then on. I know these days are endless but you will have your baby soon.

higgle · 09/06/2014 18:38

DS2 was 10 days late, every night I'd have to do all my housework and make the house look wonderful just in case the midwives had to come out. The night he was born I'd decided the dog looked a mess and cut his shaggy bits and bathed him before I went to bed ( woke up in labout 2 hours later)

ILoveYouBaby · 09/06/2014 18:40

Seven days early at 39 weeks, phew!

MewlingQuim · 09/06/2014 18:46

11 days.

Felt like months.

AnnieOneWannaSmackWorra · 09/06/2014 18:49

16 days over with DD, 6 days early with DS.

RiojaHaze · 09/06/2014 18:50

18, 18, 10.

First two inductions that took ages to get the little monkeys out! By the third I was adamant I wasn't going to wait that long again so by day 9 overdue I drank castor oil.

catsrus · 09/06/2014 18:51

17, 16, then 14 - no inductions, mine is just a slow oven Grin
