How many days over your EDD did you go?

Ha ha yes I am 5madthings as I have 5madthings! I was 4madboys but then I had dd.

And I went overdue with all of them, I tried to wait it out with ds3 but got fed up and with ds4 I couldnt be arsed and with dd I was worried about her movements so opted to be induced at 10 day's over. As it was I had an anterior placenta hence not feeling her move as much and her Labour was harder as she wasn't ready to come out.

With the ones where I went to 14-18 days over the Labour was fine and quick as I was already 4cm and having snuggly contractions.

I do wonder when I would go into Labour if I just waited... My mum was over three weeks late with me apparently!

Induced at 40+12, DS arrived at 40+14 via EMCS.

ds 10 days in total after 3 days of induction crash section Hmm

dd 7 days over went in to labour normally, another crash section- I am rubbish at having babies.

My advice to is sleep while you still can.

40+6 for DD. Didn't even get to EDD with DS - 38+4!

Watching this thread with interest as I am 36 weeks with DC1, who already weighs well over 6lbs. Worried how big s/he will end up if I go 2weeks+ overdue Confused

DS1: 7 days (c-section for breech so no natural start)
DS2: on due date!
DD: 11 days

DS2 is my favourite child Grin

Eldest had to be induced early at 40+0 (8lb) but second came in his own time at 40+11 (9lb4oz).

I really had given up on the idea of having a baby by the time cx started. In fact I remember thinking god why is this hurting every bloody half an hour I hate pregnancy ! I didn't twig that it was the start of labour....
