DS - Born on due date.
DD1 - 40 + 16
DD2 - 40 + 3

littlejohnnydory · 13/07/2014 14:17

All natural, dd1 and dd2 born at home. DS was 8lb 7, DD1 10lb 4, dd2 8lb 12

ShellyF · 13/07/2014 14:27

14 with both

ThirteenMeetings · 13/07/2014 21:22

10 days over with DD, but then labour was quick, straightforward and invention free (no time for drugs!) I remember the midwife's triumphant words, when she was examining me after 8lb 12oz DD had been born a total of 75 minutes after I got into the delivery room: "And the perineum is intact!"

I realise I was very very lucky.

rallytog1 · 13/07/2014 21:44

melliebobs · 13/07/2014 21:51

HuggleBuggleBear · 14/07/2014 19:02

13 days over due ds
And 5 days over dd

Scuttlemum14 · 20/07/2014 13:38

God this doesn't make me feel good. Ten days early with ds. Three days till due date and now very aware I could be weeks over due!!

patchesmcp · 21/07/2014 16:52

1 day over with DS.
6 days early with DD.

reallywittyname · 22/07/2014 17:38

Waters broke day before EDD. Dd born by emcs on due date, she wanted to come out but we couldn't do it by ourselves.

MostlyMama · 22/07/2014 17:41

DD was a week late. DS was 6 days, so basically a week each time :o

Rowboat · 22/07/2014 17:42

dd -3 days induced after waters breaking and no progress
ds -4 days spontaneous
actually ds was exactly 12 hours and 2 minutes earlier in gestation than dd but lighter, just. dd 8lb 14 oz, ds 8lb 11.5 oz.

skyninja · 22/07/2014 17:42

DD - five days over, 8lb 1oz
DS1 - due date, 7lb 1oz
DS2 - 10 days over and no signs of shifting when I had c-section for medical reasons. Which should have been the previous week but consultant booked me in for the wrong month, which was only discovered the day before I was due to go in....lucky the lazy little so and so had no intention of moving.

Oh, and they were really worried about DS2's size, thought he was too small and not growing well. He was 8lb 1oz...

ChessMum · 22/07/2014 17:42

Exactly on due date, unfortunately. Had been banking on an extra week or so to get ready, having been told many times that the first is usually late... Hmm

skyninja · 22/07/2014 17:45

By lazy so and so I mean the baby, not the consultant.

Mini05 · 22/07/2014 18:29

Was due 26 sept had him 17 oct 21 days!!

Mini05 · 22/07/2014 18:30

Oh 7lb 14oz

CarolineGB · 22/07/2014 18:42

13 with 1st - ended with an emergency c section and a general anaesthetic - boooooooo!
10 with 2nd, I desperately wanted a natural birth (but not induced after number 1), so they let me go over and planned a c section rather than inducement

NancyinCali · 22/07/2014 18:46

Labour started at 8 days over with DD1, she was born at 12.28am on day 9 at 8lb14oz. Induction was planned for day 10.

DD2 due on Saturday but I think she's going to be an August baby.

megnesium · 22/07/2014 18:47

Ds was 14 late. I knew he would be, but induction booked, he arrived that morning after 12 hrs!

kellibabylove · 22/07/2014 18:59

DD1 was 9 days late and DD2 was 12 days

pettyprudence · 22/07/2014 20:14

DS - due date, 9 hour labour, home birth, no damage (ahem)
DD - due date - 3.5 hour labour, home birth, no fecking drugs (grr) & no damage.

I swear both kids would have made excellent Gina Ford babies if I could be arsed to follow a schedule.

Like chessmum I assumed ds would be late, booked a hair appt for day after due date & sent dh to meeting the other side of the country... dh missed DS's birth. Other extreme for DD, he was on the phone to paramedics being talked through how to deliver a baby when the midwives turned up in the nick of time!

qumquat · 22/07/2014 21:22

14 according to the official records, 7 according to me as I knew when I dtd and when I ovulated. Dd actually came on the exact date I predicted as in France they calculate edd as 41 weeks (my sister had her babies in France) which seemed sensible to me, so I stopped myself getting impatient or thinking I was 'overdue'.

SharkSwimmer · 22/07/2014 21:39

First ds 7 days early
Second ds bang on time, waters broke quarter past midnight just as dh got back from pub. Ds arrived 12 hours later, couldn't have been more due date if we'd tried!

CinnamonPlums · 23/07/2014 06:32

2 weeks early dd1, 3 weeks early dd2 (induced) and bang on due date dd3.
