I'm getting really impatient, and Isbn is showing no signs of wanting to be born.

So far:
I am 40+4 today (was due on Saturday)
I am very heavy.
Isbn is currently residing on my bladder, and also a nerve on my left-hand-side hip.
It feels the lowest it has been, and I can't decide whether the tightenings are Isbn's bottom or muscles doing something.
For the past couple of days, I've been feeling sick, like morning sickness, and food has been giving me massive heartburn.

Don't get your hopes up, but I thought it would be a good idea to start the thread, because DH isn't technical enough to start one when the time comes (and is indeed very hesitant about even posting on it)

There is an other side and it's brilliant, this time next week you won't even remember what life was like before Isbn (IYSWIM Grin) see you later.

Alouisee · 06/12/2011 15:14

This time next year you'll be fretting about Isbns first birthday party. :o

nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 15:15

it's got to be real at some point!
They're fooling me, too ,you know!

Oh Nickle are you still hanging in there? I've not posted before, but kept checking back to see how you were. If it make you feel any better I know exactly how you feel. I was 14 days late with DS (7mo), I got induced on day 10 and it didnt work and ended up having a CS at +14. Those last couple of weeks were the longest of my life!

But it is so worth it now. DS is the love of my life, and I can't ever remember what it was like before he was here. He is currently at the childminders on one of his settling in sessions before I go back to work in Jan. I miss him! He's only been away 2 hours!

EdlessAllenPoe · 06/12/2011 15:26

my second labour was mostly stabbing pains. totally different from DD1. all the way until birth - i was waiting for labour to start properly....

Hullygully · 06/12/2011 15:29

nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 15:47

this is a link to the December Bus thread
when this hits 1000 and we can't post any more, someone (not me!) will start a new thread for me.
on which I will give birth.
and then that person (or me) will psot a link on the December bus thread

okay.
I hope.

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 06/12/2011 16:06

Well done :) Now we just need to fill this thread :)

What's the most popular kids book been this Christmas?

Harley07 · 06/12/2011 16:07

Ha ha yes you have!!!!

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 06/12/2011 16:07

They never say yes :( Something to do with 'if we say yes to you, then everyone will want us to do it'. Never mind, we have a lovely new, fresh thread now - just perfect for a new baby :)

YougreatChristmaspudding · 06/12/2011 16:08

Nickel - may this be a lesson to you on the importance of being unprepared! Now you have made a second thread Isbn will not be born until that thread is full!

You should have left it until you were having contractions 2 mins apart, feeling the urge to push and then start a thread asking 'Do you think this is labour?'

Harley07 · 06/12/2011 16:09

lets see if i do another 5 comments you can start new thread!!!!! just in time!!!!

nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 16:09

they forced me to make a new thread!!!
i didn't want to!
i even asked someone else to start it!!
I wasn't going to bother!

If we're all really quiet, and don't post any more, then nickelbaby could still sneak in before this thread is finished.

Sssh...let's all ignore little nickelbaby, it might want to come out and see why the thread's gone quiet.

That means no more posting on here from.....................NOW!
