I'm getting really impatient, and Isbn is showing no signs of wanting to be born.

So far:
I am 40+4 today (was due on Saturday)
I am very heavy.
Isbn is currently residing on my bladder, and also a nerve on my left-hand-side hip.
It feels the lowest it has been, and I can't decide whether the tightenings are Isbn's bottom or muscles doing something.
For the past couple of days, I've been feeling sick, like morning sickness, and food has been giving me massive heartburn.

Don't get your hopes up, but I thought it would be a good idea to start the thread, because DH isn't technical enough to start one when the time comes (and is indeed very hesitant about even posting on it)

I had a couple of twinges with DD2 and was sent in to be monitored due to medical issues - she was born 40 minutes later having just made it out of the car into delivery suite. :)

Well i've just put my pool up so I can pretty much guarantee that nothing will be happen here for at least 10 days. Have asked Dh to have sex again, he said no, I'll remember that. I used some suppositories to ensure all those tightenings and pressure are not just trapped wind Blush and even got on my rebounder for a bounce .

Nickel lordy how the hell did you manage missionary, if I lie in my back for a second I cut the oxygen off to my brain and there is no way dh could manouvre around the bump, which incidently has developed new stretch marks today, grr. I would recommend spooning and you on top in the dark Wink.

i had twinges up until the minute that i had full on 'she's coming out now' contractions with dd1 - but it'll still be december for you now... i'm going to bed, but will probably back footling about on mumsnet at about three in the morning if the past week is anything to go by, hope you are unavailable due to childbirth by then Smile

i've been rocking on the ball.

I had another rather sharp twinge about 5 minutes ago, which lasted about 15 seconds? It felt very tight across my middle and I did describe it as painful, but I suppose it wasn't - just sharp and tight.
(imagine an elastic band being stretched across the skin)

Missionary wasn't hard - I lay down, and DH kind of went inbetween my legs, and we just manoeuvered about till he could fit in the right place Blush

I'm off to bed now, hopefully, it'll ramp up during the night.
God knows when I'll know when to call Triage - it's all very confusing, and I'm dreading being a pain to them!
Confused

(i'm leaving the computer on, so if I need to update I can Grin)

I'm in Langley - which most proper Vancouverites don't even acknowledge as existing :o
"Langley - where there are more cows and horses than people!"
So true :o

Hmmm... this bottle appears to have developed a leak.
If this baby doesn't come soon, we might need another.

Come to think, we'll need another regardless.

Hang on.

(which JB used to call "wibs" :o)

I brought out the good stuff. [insert your favourite wine of appropriate vintage]
