I am at my highest weight since being pregnant 10 years ago. I am 14 stone and 5ft 6.
I just couldn't stop eating/ bingeing and saw myself go above 12, 13 and now at 14 stone. All put on in a year - a stressful year.

I've resorted my fitbit, got the app and walked 5k yesterday and today with an aim to eat 1200 calories. But food is my mental comfort. Gah
I need new clothes now I'm too fat for everything I own.

I made the mistake of stepping on the scales before bed, 74.9 Shock Confused - sincerely hope this is gin/soda weight of cans of soda which evaporates overnight, and not due to excess shortbread consumption Blush

ThrownMuse · 14/11/2018 08:28

Scales at night time are NEVER a good idea!

MostlyHungryAgain · 14/11/2018 14:00

73.8 this morning :(

breakfast: 4 fine mill oatcakes/marmalade (200)
lunch: Baxters Minestrone soup (160) + 8 oatcakes & sandwich spread (350) = 510 (eek, just shows you, i had oatcakes & soup thinking it would be less calories than a 'proper' lunch but i should have had the proper lunch!)
Snack: half a packet of sunbites (150) & 2 squares of sugar free choc (100)
Dinner: Cheese mushroom omlette (300)

Total for the day: 1200

ThrownMuse · 15/11/2018 07:08

Those oat cakes are the devil! Like crackers and wraps (and peanuts!) they seem to have a billion calories. Weird.

Would more protein help? I find eggs really fill me up, and as much as I love porridge, I'm always ravenous by 10am!

Today I'm having:

4 x ryvita and ham and 3 x light laughing cow triangles.

Ham salad sandwich.

3 egg omelette and small tin of beans.

Banana if I need a snack: 1100

I need to do Week 2/Run 3 today but not sure when I'll fit it in! Might be a late one!

MostlyHungryAgain · 16/11/2018 05:26

I was doing well yesterday:
B: Porridge
L: halloumi/spinach wrap & a packet of crisps

But then a friend bought me a surprise cinnabon Confused which is about a week's worth of calories. Then I fell off the wagon and had garlic bread with dinner. No weigh in today. Hmm

How is everyone doing? What plans for the weekend?

ThrownMuse · 16/11/2018 06:26

Morning!

Doing ok, stayed the same this week, which is fine post birthday.

Ah, don't worry Mostly, today is a new day!

Quiet weekend this weekend!

ThrownMuse · 17/11/2018 06:50

Happy Saturday all, how is everyone?

I've got a very social week coming up and really need to focus. All of it is unavoidable so no chance of ducking out!

Off to visit friends for lunch today but am driving, so can side step the wine at least!

Just about to head out for my Week 2/ Day 3 run...

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 17/11/2018 13:34

Good luck with the run.

Did Week 4 Run 1 on Thursday. Might do run 2 tonight. Off to church fayre and then Christmas market this afternoon, so might need to run whatever I eat there off.

71.8 this morning. Which must be pretty close to where I started off at the beginning of this thread.

ThrownMuse · 18/11/2018 07:27

Well done on the run - I'm really enjoying it at the moment. Runs next week are a bit all over the place, and I'm thinking maybe I should go again today, but not sure if back to back is wise!

How did you get on at the fayre and market? You'd have to be a robot to resist anything!

I didn't do great yesterday - we went for lunch at friends, and they are adorable but scatty, and lunch was almost two hours late, by which time I was starving and had eaten rather a lot of crisps and drank 3 glasses of wine which I had not planned on doing...ah well. It was a great afternoon!

What are you up to today? I'm working a bit this morning, then taking DS and friend swimming, then they'll hang out and game this afternoon. I might potter in the garden, and do a few chores if it stays dry.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/11/2018 08:04

Not badly food and drink wise. Other than spending more money than is sensible on a pack of Christmas cards I escaped relatively unscathed.

I’ve done a few back to back. Not sure I could do it for the week 4 runs. Did week 4 Run 2 last night. Was easier than the first one. Think I’m going to have to start spreading them out a bit because I’ve got to the point where my asthma is becoming an issue the day after a run.

ThrownMuse · 18/11/2018 12:02

Oh no, sorry to hear that. I hope you're ok?

I feel your pain re expensive Christmas cards!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/11/2018 14:31

At least the money’s going to a good cause. So can’t complain really.

Asthma has been a lot worse than this so just need to keep an eye on it I think.

MostlyHungryAgain · 19/11/2018 00:55

Morning all.
63.7kg this morning and really feeling podgy.
Back on the wagon. With one month left to lose weight, things are getting serious!

B: Fage greek yoghurt (160)
S: 2 oatcakes/peanut butter (100)
L: 2 slices toast & small tin of beans (350)
D: 2 veg sausages & a greek salad. (500)

1100

I know if I can stick to that I would lose half a kilo overnight tonight. Just need to stick to it!!

Well done on all the exercise everyone.

MostlyHungryAgain · 19/11/2018 00:55

I mean 73.7kg!

Wishful thinking haha!

ThrownMuse · 19/11/2018 06:29

Morning Mostly!

Don't worry, just keep doing what you can! I'm hoping for 8 pounds in 4 weeks, which is only just possible I think!

Stick with the food and you'll be fine.

My day involves mostly driving who h I am not excited about!

MostlyHungryAgain · 19/11/2018 14:56

Rounding up the day!

B: 4 oatcakes marmalade (200)
S: Fage yoghurt (150)
L: 2 slices beans on toast (350)
S: 2 chocolate rice cakes (120)
S3: some of DS' burger king chips. :/ (200)
D: 2 veg sausages & salad (300)

  1. Darn you Burger King!
ThrownMuse · 19/11/2018 15:41

1300 is ok!!!!

I've had 2 bananas, pad Thai at Wagamama, and will have a cup a soup later.

Pudding down so no running.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 19/11/2018 18:19

This bus journey home feels like it’s lasting forever. Plans for running tonight might be on hold.

ThrownMuse · 20/11/2018 09:56

Did you get home, Rafals?

I ran this morning, as it was lovely and dry, a bit cold but I like that!

Out for drinks tonight but much needed, so not worrying too much about it being a mid week thing. I'll have a baked spud and salad at lunch and then save a few hundred calories for the train home in case I need a packet of crisps!

Huge amount of walking today, things should hopefully balance out...

HelloViroids · 20/11/2018 10:49

Hi all

Well done on all the exercise - I’ve done none for ages Blush

Still hovering around a stone loss - again had a good week followed by a bad weekend... but, MFP says I’m half a pound lighter than I was last Tues, so that’s something I suppose. Really annoyed that I’m sabotaging myself so much though!Angry

duckii · 20/11/2018 12:31

Hi everyone!

Well done to everyone doing so well. I've been following but not posting as me and little one haven't been too well so not great on the diet front.
But I've lost 2 pounds since I last ever checked. Just another 3kg to lose and I'll be back in the 70s! (79kg but still, rather see that than 86kg!)

Id love to do couch25k but not sure if I can with my life atm! Exercise is non existent but I do go for regular pram walks.

MostlyHungryAgain · 20/11/2018 13:16

Hello all!
I've had a stressful day and a colleague's birthday which involved a macaroon and half a mince pie. I also then had lunch and then a 2nd lunch which was a 1,000 calorie macaroni cheese box! I need to be whipped!

On the positive side, I haven't eaten since 1pm and won't be eating again today as I still feel sick so maybe by tomorrow morning that will count as some sort of 17 hour fast?!

MostlyHungryAgain · 21/11/2018 01:42

72.7kg! Still full from yesterday's lunch. Maybe this is the future.

Wasn't there some guy who ate a full tikka masala every day for lunch and lost loads of weight as he couldn't eat again til the next day?!

duckii · 21/11/2018 05:32

@MostlyHungryAgain I don't think I'd try that diet! But yum macaroni cheese! Not had that for a long time and probably won't... after hearing all those calories! But I bet you enjoyed it Grin

ThrownMuse · 21/11/2018 11:51

Hello all....feeling a bit under the weather today with a cold so will check back in tomorrow.
