I am at my highest weight since being pregnant 10 years ago. I am 14 stone and 5ft 6.
I just couldn't stop eating/ bingeing and saw myself go above 12, 13 and now at 14 stone. All put on in a year - a stressful year.

I've resorted my fitbit, got the app and walked 5k yesterday and today with an aim to eat 1200 calories. But food is my mental comfort. Gah
I need new clothes now I'm too fat for everything I own.

Oh. Well, all done now and I hope they were lovely!

I have craving a big glass of red wine...but it's 10 weeks this week since I drank in the week (just do Fridays, oh boy do I do Fridays), so staying strong...

ThrownMuse · 31/10/2018 09:48

Morning All - ready to wire our jaws for all the trick or treating later?!

I'll be taking DS but hoping to avoid eating any myself.

HelloViroids · 01/11/2018 09:39

Hi @Thrown, how was trick or treating? Well done for staying strong on the wine!

I had a bad day yest - was at work for 15 hours which included a training event with buffet lunch, and I just mindlessly dug in Sad BUT today is a new day, and am really hoping to get an early night and maybe even a post work swim...though will have to see how motivation levels go! Feeling very premenstrual and like I’m getting a cold, so not in my most “swimming” head...

Have a good day all!

ThrownMuse · 01/11/2018 10:45

Did we all survive Halloween?

Sneaky jump on the scales this morning - looks like one pound off (taking me to 14.9), so just need to hold it together until Sunday (though let's be honest, if the scales confirm the same toimorrow then WINE FRIDAY will be happening).

Happy Thursday all.

ThrownMuse · 02/11/2018 07:09

Jumped on and looks like just the one off so far, but will do official weigh in on Sunday. Pleased it's moving if only slowly now!

I have a quiet week work wise next week so am going to get some big long walks in: what will be will be by Sunday 11/11 (my birthday and first milestone). I've lost 1.5 stone now and am 2 pounds of first target so I still think that's worth celebrating.

Not sure about wine tonight yet...depends what I feel like later!

Happy Friday folks!

duckii · 02/11/2018 07:46

Hi everyone, busy week with lots of family around and lots of food! Not a good week for me but I'm trying.

@ThrownMuse that's amazing. Definitely something to celebrate. You will also lose the 2 pounds too. Are you doing something nice for your birthday?

@HelloViroids don't worry, off days can happen but well done for the swim afterwards.

@MostlyHungryAgain oh gosh. They must have been calorific but delicious!

A month left today for my special birthday to lose 7kg which I probably won't do but as long as I lose at least 4kg. I'll be happy!

SharkShark · 02/11/2018 07:51

Can I join please?

I've been calorie counting and using MFP since the beginning of August and have lost just over 2 stone, 1 stone to go until target and I'm feeling demotivated!

HelloViroids · 02/11/2018 10:04

Hi all!

@SharkShark - all welcome! 2 stone loss is amazing!Star I can imagine it must get frustrating and also slower - but don’t stop now, you’re doing so well!

@ThrownMuse definitely celebrate! If you do have wine enjoy it, but maybe plan how much to have in advance? Sometimes works for me (sometimes doesn’t!)

@duckii 4kg in a month is very doable - we are rooting for you!

I never managed my swim Blush BUT hopped on the scales this morning, have lost 13.2lbs total now - just want to see that 1 stone mark! First day of my period (and have come off the pill to TTC!) so am planning to go easy on myself today, try to have nice warming food, not too much wine, and maybe do some gentle yoga... we will see how this pans out!

Happy Friday everyone Flowers

ThrownMuse · 02/11/2018 10:05

Thans, Duckii - sending you lots of positive vibes, I know things have been tough so just continuing to post is great!

On my birthday I am keeping it simple - so long as the weather is dry we'll take DS to the local scooter park which is right on the beach. He can burn offf lots of energy whilst DP and I watch with a nice coffee from the cafe. Then lunch at a lovely fish place - family friendly so everyone gets to eat what they want, and I can scoff a plate of fish and chips. Then hopefully a walk along the beach afterwards and a piece of cake somewhere. TBH, so long as others are happy, I'm happy!

What about you, any plans for your day?

And welcome Shark! Congrats on yur weight loss, that is incredible! I'm doing to same as you, and started at the end of August, and am down 1 stone 5 pounds. I understand how you feel. My weight loss has slowed down and I still have 2.5 stone to go!

I was thinking of starting some proper exercise next week, mainly walking as my evenings are set asides for study. I really don't know what else to do! Any ideas? Happy to maybe start C25K?

MostlyHungryAgain · 03/11/2018 03:04

Thrown if you feel like starting C25K I wouldn't mind doing this with you. I need to be forced.

I had a terrible week last week, it's like as soon as I said I was going to try and lose weight I went in to binge mode. At one point I had eaten a full packet of tuc biscuits and butter.

now there is one week less to lose the weight before christmas. :/

So, back on it today. I've had two slices of toast and two boiled eggs and that's it until lunch time when it will be salad, and then dinner will be something quorn and veg, maybe 2 quorn sausages and either salad or veg.

Well done to everyone for the losses and welcome to Shark

ThrownMuse · 03/11/2018 07:52

Hungry I'm starting again tomorrow so come and join me! We can encourage each other to stick with it!

I really need to break up my week with some exercise, and I can fit half an hour in every other morning before DP leaves for work. We live v close to the beach, so there's no excuse! Esp with this gorgeous autumn weather.

As for your week - don't dwell. It's done now, you probably needed to do it, so just draw a line and move on. Try better today!

It's 7 weeks til Xmas, so I'm making Fri 21/12 my last weigh in before having a week off. Aiming to achieve 2 stone by then, meaning 9 pounds to go.

What are we all up to today?

MostlyHungryAgain · 03/11/2018 08:18

Sounds like a good plan thrown.

I've been supermarket shopping and have topped up the freezer with loads of quorn things so I should be ok for sensible dinners.

What do you all have for breakfast?

ThrownMuse · 03/11/2018 08:26

You got this Hungry! Keep planning.

I had 2 eggs on toasted pitta. My absolute fave. Lunch is jacket and beans, dinner is quorn cottage pie and peas.

Am making gingerbread people with DS later but should be able to resist...

MostlyHungryAgain · 03/11/2018 10:54

Good luck with Non-Gingerbread consumption!

ThrownMuse · 03/11/2018 17:55

I resisted!

Looking forward to starting running tomorrow. What are your plans Hungry?

ThrownMuse · 04/11/2018 07:46

Well, feeling smug as did Day 1, Week 1 of C25K this morning. It's a beautiful day, and the sky was all pink above the beach, so it was worth the effort!

Calories all planned for today and will try and try more water too. Even if I see 14:9 and not 14:7 in a week, I'll still be happy, esp if I manage 3 runs!

What are we all up to today? Quick trip to the garden centre this morn then taking DS and a friend swimming...hopefully I can get a few lengths in too.

HelloViroids · 04/11/2018 09:30

Well done @ThrownMuse for gingerbread resistance and C25!

MostlyHungryAgain · 04/11/2018 12:59

Hello all!

Very pleased this morning with a 62.9 weigh in, i'm kind of back to where I started over a week ago but that's good.
Also been very good today and have veg sausages and cauliflower cheese in the oven for dinner so hopefully there will be another slight loss tomorrow.

No exercise (but that's not unusual!).

Well done Thrown on Day 1! where are you doing it from, youtube or the like? or is it an app? I am thinking about it............just thinking mind!

ThrownMuse · 04/11/2018 13:20

Thanks Hello!

Well done Viroids, it takes effort picking it up again when we've wobbled, so good for you! Just keep going, one day at a time...

I'm doing to BBC app, so it's on my phone. V easy to follow and use. I'm approaching it has a reward to myself(I know, I know, so naff...), as in it's half an hour just for me, time to think or whatever...!!!

MostlyHungryAgain · 05/11/2018 01:57

62.3 Smile AND with this regime I am still having toast/lurpak/honey in the morning! Yipeeee.

0.7kg lost (1.5lb).

Today I am having leftover veg sausage/cauliflower mash for lunch and I'm not sure yet for dinner.

To motivate me I have been looking at the before/after photos on My Fitness Pal - if you haven't seen them go and have a look, they are in the Community forum section! have a good day all.

ThrownMuse · 05/11/2018 06:48

Congratulations, Hungry, that's a fantastic loss! Looks like you have figured out what works for you - brilliant!

I'll check those photos out!

I took one of me, side on in my swimming costume on holiday in August. I'll post it and a new one at the 2 stone loss mark at Christmas.

Happy Monday everyone! Working at home, always tough!

duckii · 05/11/2018 07:30

Hey everyone, had a busy week. Guests have finally gone, but now it's TOTM.. from hell! I don't even want to weigh myself as I just feel heavier.

I didn't eat too bad last week but did not stick to my diet and had very little water. Back on track today. Congrats to those who have lost weight!

Well done to those who are doing C25k. I'm going to have a look at it today to see what it involves and if I can manage with the baby.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 05/11/2018 11:53

Can I rejoin. Completely fell off the wagon and am now a kilo heavier than I was when I started on this thread.

Now asthma is sorted I might start on C25k this week. Also want to make sure I get 10,000 steps in every day. Shouldn't be too much of a challenge on most work days, just need to watch the days off and the days I'm not on my feet all day.

73.4kg on Saturday which is definitely I new high I don't want to see again.

MostlyHungryAgain · 05/11/2018 13:40

Er, epic fail, I was thinking I was quite similar in weight to Rafais and then realised I have somehow put myself as 62.3 when it should have been 72.3kg

lol. Ah well, one day. haha!

A good day today so far. Well done and welcome back to all.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 05/11/2018 14:59

I was wondering how much more you thought you needed to lose. I'd be more than happy with 62kg.
