Hoooray good stuff, there was an address issue and I had to guess at a part, so either I guessed right or your postie showed some initiative! Hope it does its job!

Hahahahahaha

Ahem. Sorry.

[concerned face]

How awful, are you all right?

lizzytee · 17/10/2008 22:26

Aitch

Fab, fab weight gain. Sooooo pleased for you.

Aitch · 17/10/2008 22:30

more worried about dd, tbh, she's got a high temp, fast breathing, v red lips... temp not coming down (from high 38s)with paracetamol and wet cloth.

OP posts:
PigeonPie · 17/10/2008 22:34

Aitch, sorry to hear about DD1 - I've always found neurofen gets temps down quicker than paracetamol. Hope she gets better soon.

lizzytee · 17/10/2008 22:36

Can give her ibuprofen as well - it normally worked better in bringing dd's temp down?

Aitch · 17/10/2008 22:38

oh good, will try her with that before we pack her back to bed. thanks.

PigeonPie · 17/10/2008 22:41

Also, it lasts 6 hours rather than the 4 that calpol does, so it's great for night.

fishie · 17/10/2008 22:44

paracetamol is useless imo, ibu all the way and some wafting with a towel in only a vest (her not you).

welliemum · 17/10/2008 22:53

Absolutely, ibuprofen is good stuff. She doesn't have asthma, does she?

nappyaddict · 19/10/2008 00:13

aitch how did you know you've been doing breast compression all wrong? did you see a video? if so can i have the link for a friend please.

welliemum · 19/10/2008 09:59

How's dd1, Aitch? Better I hope.

hunkermunker · 19/10/2008 10:33

Aw, poor DD1 Hope she's much better now.

Aitch · 19/10/2008 12:26

NA, get yer pal to google jack newman, lots of interesting clips. it's on hunker's website as well.

we had a Bad Night, actually.

dd2 ravenously snacking throughout, honestly... i doubt i got ten mins. at the same time, i don't hink she fed well.

could this be anything t do with the hearty lamb massalum i dined on? might she just not like curry? she's fed all morning with more focus.

Focus baby Aitch, focus!!!

DS had a bad night on Friday, and while I can grab at lots of straws as to why, for my sanity I just have to reconcile myself to the fact that it's just one of those things. Otherwise I drive myself mad tying to some up with a solution. Does that make sense?

I also forget that pre newborn I don't always sleep well every night, so I can't expect a baby too either.

IME what I eat hasn't affected my milk, but there will be plenty of people who would disagree.

Can I just show off for a minute? DS has put on 11oz in 14 days - yipee!

Here's too a peaceful night tonight for us all

hunkermunker · 19/10/2008 19:46

Aitch, there's not always an answer with why a baby's fussy feeding from time to time. You'll drive yourself potty trying to fathom it, so don't start It might have been the curry, it may very well not have been.

Poor you with only ten minutes' sleep

Aitch · 19/10/2008 19:57

back after a fmily day at my mother's.

i am BONKERS with lack of sleep.

11oz! congrats! [insane]

OP posts:
laundrylover · 19/10/2008 21:59

It's not the lack of sleep Aitch - you're just bonkers.
