I've been bf for the last 4 1/2 years and never had any negative comments from strangers

i have fed out and about all the time, including feeding large 2 1/2 year old on plane sitting next to strange man. TBH i think he was just relieved that Ds wasn't screaming like all the other toddlers and babies aboard. Apart from the others who were Bf of course

No nasty comments from strangers , just a few unsupportive ones from family

Never had negative comments from strangers but lots of encouraging ones incuding from our 86 yr old priest, who said he was glad I was feeding baby as it is best for baby and said I was always welcome to sit in church and feed

Also from my Grandad - 91 at the time, who proudly told me that all his children were BF by my Gran

However my mother has made lots of negative comments, including saying she doesn't watto be out with me when I feed in case " anyone sees"

Also negs from stepmother: "why are you still BFing?"

Doh!

Always positive, apart from my mother (what is it with them?). Have had some nice free juice and cake in various cafes "you'll need this to keep your strength up" - fab!
